Description
Process for the refinement of vegetable, animal and artificial Fibers. Those originating from the animal and plant kingdom or artificially produced fibers or fibrous materials often have in their original form do not have the properties that are desired and necessary for their subsequent use are. We already know numerous processes that meet the requirements of a refinement try to satisfy the raw materials in question here (pickling process, Waterproofing, tanning, finishing, etc.). However, the execution sometimes fails such procedures under the present circumstances due to the lack of earlier ones used chemical substances, partly the desired effect is after the previous one Process could not be achieved to the extent desired.
b. Vorliegende Erfindung: Eine wäßrige Lösung der Aldehydharze in Alkali.b. Present Invention: An aqueous solution of the aldehyde resins in Alkali.
2. Verfahren.
b. Present invention: By impregnating a substance with an aqueous one Solution of the alkali salt, post-treatment with a suitable metal salt (possibly also Reversal of the order or repetition of the process), i.e. the known chemical The process of double transposition.
3. Zweck.
b. Vorliegende Erfindung: U. a. Erzeugung von Leder aus tierischen Häuten.b. Present invention: i.a. Production of leather from animal Skinning.
The procedure is similar to pickling, if the purpose is finishing it is desired that the fiber is protected against the ingress of water or other liquids To make resistant. The chemical process is supposed to be between the solutions the aldehyde resins and the salts required for the double conversion within. of animal skins - either alone or in conjunction with others Tanning agents - such is the application of too strong solutions at the start of operations to be avoided so as not to precipitate as a result of the double conversion premature obstruction of the ducts leading into the inner parts of the skins to effect.
In the application. of the procedure on those fibers that are on artificial Paths are generated, the finishing can extend to the finished thread; but it can also take place at the same time as the generation. Is it z. B. to the production of viscose silk, so you mix the alkaline viscose solutions sufficient alkaline solutions of the aldehyde resins. When spinning the alkaline Solutions in a salt bath that contain suitable basic components (see above), can double conversion at the same time as the deposition of the cellulose hydrate going on.
The use of soluble salts of the condensation products of aldehydes and phenols for refining fiber materials is known per se and is used for itself alone not as new coveted.
