Verfahren zur Verbindung der kleinen Satteltaschen und der Anziehlederstücke mit dem Sitzleder. - Bei der Herstellung von Sätteln war es bis jetzt üblich, die beiden schmäleren Teile beiderseits des Sitzleders, welche man beim ersten Überspannen des Leders zum Anziehen desselben brauchte, wegzuschneiden. Alsdann stellte man besondere Anziehlederstücke her, welche durch besondere Naht an den kleinen Satteltaschen befestigt wurden. Diese Herstellungsart war also mit einer bedeutenden Leder- und Arbeitsvergeudung verbunden. Außerdem entstand der Nachteil, daß die drei verschiedenen Bestandteile des Sattels, d. h. Dann paßt man die beiden kleinen Satteltaschen b mit Stecknadeln am Sitzleder a: an, nimmt den Sitz von dem matrazierten, d. h. gepolsterten Sattelbaum c herunter und schneidet durch, um in üblicher Weise einködern zu können. Durch diese beiden Schnitte ergeben sich die beiden Anziehleder von selbst, d. h. sie hängen gleich daran und werden nun mit den kleinen Taschen und dem Sitze durch eine einzige Naht verbunden.
