Protective device for the isolators of electric gas purifiers. It
is bad with electric gas cleaners, the insulator against the action of the
To protect gases, e.g. B. also by a conductive plate. Present invention used
but for this purpose another embodiment, which follows before the known means
Advantages: The clearances between the protective plate and the dust chamber
forming wall can be omitted entirely or chosen to be very small. The plate
has no surface radiation losses. A harmful kind of impact on the
Insulators and the counter electrodes can not take place. The electric field distribution
becomes cheaper.
Fig. i zeigt eine Ausführungsmöglichkeit im Querschnitt. i, 2, 3 sind
15 sind die Gegenelektroden-Der Gasstrom kann von 7 kommen und nach 16 gehen. Fig.
i zeigt verschiedene Ausführungen.
Fig. I shows an embodiment in cross section. i, 2, 3 are
the isolators; 4, 5, 6 are the protective plates, which according to the invention are made of insulating material,
z. B. porcelain. ' io are the spraying electrodes. 1i, 13,
15 are the counter electrodes - the gas flow can come from 7 and go to 16. Fig.

the gas pipe system the protective plate, which is of course less good. Right is a

and only above it through the common supply line 14, which through _ das

Fig. 3 zeigt -drei Labyrinthe. 16 und 18 sind die Kammerwände,
17 und i g die nicht leitenden Schutzplatten. Fig. 4 zeigt eine Ausführungsart,
Fig. 5 zeigt eine andere Ausführungsmöglichkeit,
In diesem
Fig.6 zeigt die theoretisch ökonomischeste Ausführung.
wählt man jedoch a, d, c,. e entsprechend der elektrischen Beanspruchung.
Fig. 2 shows a special design through a kind of labyrinth seal. These labyrinths arise from the fact that the passage cross-section (gap) changes its width several times. Fig. 3 shows three mazes. 16 and 18 are the chamber walls, 17 and ig the non-conductive protective plates. Fig. 4 shows an embodiment in which the outer edge of the protective plate 22 is formed from insulating material 21; 23 is the insulator, 2o the outer housing wall. FIG. 5 shows another possible embodiment in which the plate 25 is fastened to the outer body, while the bushing does not touch the insulator 26. FIG. 7 shows a plate which is neither attached to the wall 33 nor to the insulator 36, but is carried by a special insulator 35. In this case, the protective plate 34 may be made of a semiconductor, e.g. B. wood, marble, concrete. The use of a semiconductor is also advantageous when the spraying electrodes are only allowed to deliver certain amounts of electricity in order to e.g. B. to prevent any risk of explosion in the case of slightly explosive gases. In this case the line 14 (FIG. I) would be omitted and the plate 6 would consist of semiconductors. Fig. 6 shows the theoretically most economical design. As is known, the field strength increases from the center of the insulator 32 to the outside. away. Accordingly, the protective plate can be composed of insulators as far as this corresponds to the electrical stress. For example, up to distance a air insulation, up to d a good isolator, e.g. B. porcelain, 3i, to c a semiconductor 30; the outer ring 29 can be a conductor. Of course, a combination of the above is also possible so that, for. B. the air layer is in the middle. However, it is expedient to choose a, d, c ,. e according to the electrical load. The device can analogously also be used for electrically cleanable, non-conductive liquids.
