Centrifugal pump with reversible flow direction for the conveying medium.

The object of the invention is on the drawing, for example
which shows a horizontal section of the pump.
symmetrischer Anordnung nebeneinander untergebracht.
In a common pump housing A there are two impellers B and E in
symmetrical arrangement next to each other. The wheel B sits on a solid shaft

Both sides of the housing A, the nozzle I and K are arranged centrally; she

B in Umdrehung versetzt.
nunmehr zum Leitrad wird, zum Stutzen I.The effect of the new pump is as follows: If the belt is shifted from the idle pulley H to the fixed pulley D , the running path B is set in rotation. The same has the effect that the liquid is sucked in through the nozzle I, conveyed through the guide channel and the stationary impeller E into the nozzle K and from there back into the pressure line. If the direction of flow of the liquid is to be reversed, the belt is shifted onto the pulley G so that the impeller E is driven by means of the hollow shaft F. The liquid runs in the opposite direction as before, ie it is sucked in by the impeller E through the nozzle K and passes through the guide channel L and the stationary impeller B, which now becomes the stator, to the nozzle I.
