Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung von Kunstharz. Es ist bekannt, daß Formaldehyd mit Anilin zu festem Anhydroformaldehydanilin erstarrt. Nach vorliegender Erfindung ist es gelungen, aus diesem Anhydroformaldehydanilin ein Kunstharz mit neuen Eigenschaften dadurch herzustellen, daß man :das Anhydroformaldehydanilin etwa io bis 12 Stunden auf 130 bis i4o° C erhitzt, wobei unter Abgabe eines einen starken weißen Nebel bildenden Dampfes ein klares und springhartes Harz zurückbleibt. Dieses so gebildete Produkt hat die wertvolle neue Eigenschaft, die Löslichkeit schwer oder unvollkommen löslicher Natur- und Kunstharze und deren Glanzhärte und Polierfähigkeit zu erhöhen sowie die neue nur dem Schellack eigene Fähigkeit beim Verbrennen, .die Lichtwirkung bengalischer Flammen, nicht zu beeinträchtigen und ein gleichmäßiges ruhiges Abbrennen des Leuchtsatzes zu gewährleisten.Process for the production of synthetic resin.
