The subject of the present invention is a method for utilizing the
for impeller drums of steam or gas turbines with forward and backward blading
ventilation heat generated by the currently idling blading, which is particularly important when the larger ones are idling
Forward blading can become very large and has so far been felt to be extremely harmful
became. According to the method according to the invention, the cavity of the impeller drum is obtained
once a quantity of liquid, which on one side of the room through
Heat supply of the braking blading evaporates and on the side of the in operation
the blading due to the temperature corresponding to the low pressure in this area
is condensed and so constantly a heat transport from the idling to
the acted side takes place, d. H. conducts the heat away where it has a detrimental effect and
leads it to where it is useful.
Man hat also
Stelle A nach der in Betrieb befind-The method will be explained in more detail with reference to the drawing, which in FIG. 1 shows schematically a turbine with forward and backward blading in section. The hollow running yarn drum α (Fig. 1) with the forward blading h and the backward blading 'c receives a certain invariable amount of liquid inside, z. B. Wasscr, and expediently only so much that this liquid only wets the inner wall of the impeller drum when it is evenly distributed over the inner surface by the centrifugal force. It is now assumed that the reverse blading c is in operation, while the forward blading 4 b has a braking effect. As a result of the unequal mean temperatures of the blading which is in operation and which has a braking effect and is not acted upon, the inner liquid is evaporated on the forward blading side 1 and condensed on the backward blading side. So there is heat extraction on the evaporator side A , while on the condensation side B heat is released to the working steam. The resulting temperature conditions are shown approximately in FIG. From these relationships it can be seen that evaporation must take place on the side and condensation on the B side. The heat gradient causes heat to be transported from the endangered point A to the
usw., beseitigt bzw. verringert. Der Hohlraum der Trommel kann auch luftleerLichen B, where this otherwise disadvantageous heat is made usable by superheating the saturated steam, which increases both the heat gradient and the thermal efficiency. In addition, by dissipating the heat from the braking part, all known disadvantages arising as a result of inadmissibly high heating of this part, such as the risk of grazing etc., are eliminated or reduced. The cavity of the drum can also be evacuated

So kehrt z.
also selbsttätig allen vorkommenden Betriebsverhältnissen am
A major advantage of this arrangement is that it automatically adapts to changes in operating conditions. So z. B. when the direction of the drainage changes, the heat transport automatically reverses its' direction by bringing the heat from B to A. However, the adjustment continues. With increasing warming of the idle blading, as it z. B. occurs when the number of revolutions increases, the heat gradient also increases. But then more heat is also transported. The method according to the invention thus automatically adapts to all operating conditions that occur
