Sewing needle with clamping surfaces for the thread. The invention is based on the
Consideration from that with the known sewing needle with threading slot the previous one
It becomes unnecessary that after the thread is not through the eye, but through
the threading slot was pulled in, does not need to put it back into the
to pull the old eye when the drawn-in thread is in a "clamping slot" to replace the eye
clamped uni is held. It is now known to clamp the thread
to be noted, but the known such designs are in connection with
one eye takes place, whereas here the eye is omitted and the longer one
and sharper acute-angled clamping slot also clamps the thread better. The clamping slot
the arrangement is more solid, at an acute angle to each other, the sewing thread between
absorbing clamping surfaces and is connected to the threading slot with the wide opening
connected instead of the eye. In its wedge-shaped narrowing path the
transversely drawn in thread drawn in so tightly that it then depending on its strength
is held wedged at one point of the clamping path.
The first and most important advantage of this innovation is
that the constructional difficulty falls into the small sewing needle eye and threading slot
to be arranged next to each other, which probably makes the threading slot practically possible in the first place
will. On the other hand, there is the disadvantage that this innovation does not occur
lets use the sewing machine needle that needs an eye. Opposite the eye results
the clamping slot when sewing by hand still has the additional advantages that the clamped thread
does not slip out of the needle as easily as before and be threaded repeatedly
it must now be possible to sew to the end with a very short thread, and vice versa
If the thread is long, it is not unwillingly sewn with a double thread, because here the
Thread can be threaded very briefly from the house.
The thread is stretched and crossed. the threading slot in the
Retracted the clamping slot by gripping the needle with the fingers of your left hand
and one end of the thread pressed against it, then with the right hand - the free one
Thread is drawn in tightly.
gezogen, so immer stärker geklemmt.
her bekannt ist.
Klemmschlitz. The clamping slot can now be arranged with the threading slot a at the blunt needle end or with the lateral threading slot as an extension thereof and can even be guided in a straight (curved) or angled line, so that several embodiments are obtained. In the drawings, a is that threading slot which is cut so wide at the blunt needle end with a rectangular cross-section (Fig. 3a) that only two identical tips remain on both sides. In Fig. R and 2 the straight clamping slot b is wrong to the tensile stress of the thread, so that roughenings, warts or similar obstacles are arranged in the slot path that the sharply drawn-in thread cannot easily slip past them against a. In F, ig. q. slipping out should also be made more difficult by the curvature of the clamping slot. In Figs. 5 and 6 and 9 to ii is the. The tensile stress is correct, and if the thread is pulled against the slot of the clamping track while sewing, it is clamped more and more. In Fig. 6 and ii the angle tongue e rests on the slot part c, locks it against the inner angled part d and is resiliently loaded when the thread is pulled through, as is known from various constructions. In Fig. 7 and 8 the clamping slot is bent at right angles and the angle tongue g is wedge-shaped and resiliently cut so that in the rest position (Fig. 7) it locks the slot part f both against the feed part c and against the suspension slot h and when the thread is pulled through (Fig. 8) goes back resiliently. In these angled embodiments of the clamping slot, the slot part c forms the feed path, the slot part d or f the inner actual clamping slot.
