Description

  

  Nadel für Strick-, Stopf- und ähnliche Maschinen.    Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung ist  eine Nadel für Strick-, Stopf- und ähnliche  Maschinen.  



  Wie bei andern bekannten Nadeln dieser  Art ist an ihrem in das Arbeitsstück ein  dringenden Ende ein beweglicher Haken zum  zeitweisen Festhalten des Fadens vorgesehen.  



  Sie unterscheidet sich aber dadurch von  den andern, dass sie an diesem Ende beider  seits des Hakens Aussparungen zur Aufnahme  des Fadens aufweist, zum Zwecke, den  Querschnitt der Nadel samt Faden zu ver  ringern, damit sie leichter durch das Arbeits  stück hindurch geführt werden kann.  



  Auf beiliegender Zeichnung ist eine bei  spielsweise Ausführungsform der Nadel ver  anschaulicht, und zwar sind       Fig.        1.    und 2 zwei Seitenansichten, die  tim     90e    von einander entfernt sind,       Fig.3    und 4 zwei Schnitte nach den  Linien     III-IH    und     IV-IV    der     Fig.    1,       Fig.    5 ein     Querschnitt    durch den Haken.  Diese Ausführungsform besteht aus einem  Stahldraht a von     kreiszylindrischeui    Quer-    schnitt, welcher gegen sein hinteres Ende b  für den Antrieb der Nadel fünf Mal recht  winklig abgebogen ist.

   Am vorderen, in das  Arbeitsstück eindringenden Ende verläuft  er in einer Spitze c und ist mit dem federnden  Haken d versehen, der mit ihm aus einem  Stück hergestellt ist. Der Haken d ist durch  eine Lamelle von     dreieckförmiger    Stirnansicht  und von halbkreisförmigem Querschnitte  gebildet, welche in der Nähe ihres freien  Endes eine Biegung e aufweist. Gegenüber  dem Haken<I>d</I> ist der Stahldraht a bei<I>f</I>  abgeflacht und weist eine Vertiefung     g    auf.  



  Der Verbindungssteg i des Hauptteils  des Drahtes     ca    mit dem Haken d hat einen  länglichen, abgerundeten Querschnitt, wie  aus den     Fig.    3 und 4 ersichtlich ist, so dass  beiderseits des Hakens     Aussparungen        j,        k     entstehen.  



  Dank der Spitze c kann die dargestellte  Nadel auch dann mit Leichtigkeit durch  das Arbeitsstück hindurchgeführt werden,  selbst wenn sie unmittelbar auf einen Faden  oder eine Faser dieses Arbeitsstückes stösst.      Es legt sich der zeitweise im Haken d fest  gehaltene Faden in die eine oder andere  Aussparung     j,   <I>k,</I> wenn die Nadel durch das  Arbeitsstück     hindurchbewegt    wird, so     d.ass     der Gesamtquerschnitt der Nadel und des  Fadens an diesem Ende ein kleiner ist und  die Hindurchführung dadurch erleichtert wird.



  Needle for knitting, darning and similar machines. The present invention relates to a needle for knitting, darning and similar machines.



  As with other known needles of this type, a movable hook for temporarily holding the thread is provided at its end penetrating into the workpiece.



  But it differs from the others in that it has recesses for receiving the thread at this end on both sides of the hook, for the purpose of reducing the cross-section of the needle and thread so that it can be more easily passed through the work piece.



  On the accompanying drawing is an example embodiment of the needle ver illustrative, namely Fig. 1. and 2 are two side views that are tim 90e from each other, Fig.3 and 4 two sections along the lines III-IH and IV-IV 1, 5 show a cross section through the hook. This embodiment consists of a steel wire a with a circular cylindrical cross section, which is bent at right angles five times towards its rear end b for driving the needle.

   At the front end penetrating into the work piece it runs in a point c and is provided with the resilient hook d which is made in one piece with it. The hook d is formed by a lamella with a triangular front view and semicircular cross-section, which has a bend e in the vicinity of its free end. Opposite the hook <I> d </I> the steel wire a is flattened at <I> f </I> and has a recess g.



  The connecting web i of the main part of the wire ca with the hook d has an elongated, rounded cross section, as can be seen from FIGS. 3 and 4, so that recesses j, k arise on both sides of the hook.



  Thanks to the point c, the needle shown can then be passed through the work piece with ease, even if it directly hits a thread or a fiber of this work piece. When the needle is moved through the workpiece, the thread temporarily held firmly in hook d is placed in one or the other recess j, <I> k, </I>, so that the total cross-section of the needle and the thread on this End is a smaller one and the passage is made easier.

Claims

PATENT CLAIM: Needle for knitting, darning and similar machines, at the end of which penetrates the work piece, a movable hook for temporarily holding the thread is seen, characterized in that it has recesses at this end on both sides of the hook for receiving the thread - has, for the purpose of reducing the cross-section of the needle including the thread, so that it can be guided more easily through the workpiece. SUBCLAIM: Needle according to claim, characterized in that it runs into a point at the end mentioned so that it can be more easily passed through the workpiece.
