Die in der Zeichnung dargestellten Neuerungen an Ventilationsfenstern bezwecken einen vollkommen dichten Abschlufs des Ventilationsfensters gegen den Fensterrahmen sowohl, wie der einzelnen Ventilationsklappen unter einander. Bisher erfolgte das Oeffnen der Klappen durch Zug, das Schliefsen aber selbstthätig durch Eigengewicht; in vorliegender Neuerung erfolgt das Schliefsen durch Zug an der Stange t und das Oeffnen durch Hochdrücken der Stange t. Behufs Erzielung dieser entgegengesetzten Wirkung ist zwischen der die Klappen Z bewegenden Kuppelstange k und der Zugstange t ein über den Fensterrahmen r beiderseitig übergreifender Winkelhebel ee1 angebracht, so dafs einerseits die Stange t durch ihre seitliche Stellung frei und unbehindert von dem Oeffnen des Unterfensters ist und dafs andererseits der Arm e durch die Verbindungsslange ν direct in der Zugrichtung, unter Vermeidung jedes Eckens, auf die Kuppelstange k wirken kann.In order to achieve a tight closure of the flaps under one another in addition to this lateral tight closure of the flaps on the frame, the previously chosen path of closing the ventilation flaps automatically by one's own excess weight, springs or counterweight has been completely abandoned and the arrangement has been made so that the valves are closed by direct pull downwards, with which force can therefore be applied at will.
