Die Speichen α und b bilden ein Stück, dessen Enden im Radkranz befestigt werden, während der Mitteltheil parallel zur Achse des Rades bezw. zur Mitte der Nabe liegt, so dafs dadurch eine gleichmäfsige Vertheilung des Druckes auf die Lauffläche erzielt wird. Die so gelagerten Speichen erhalten ihre Befestigung durch eine Büchse c, gegen welche sich die mit Auskehlungen, die dem Querschnitt der Speichen entsprechen und letztere umfassen, versehenen Haltescheiben f legen. Die Haltescheiben werden auf c aufgesetzt und durch Umbördelung der äufsersten Ränder der inneren Büchse festgehalten.
