Description
Drying felt made of asbestos and other fibers for cardboard and paper machines. The purpose of the invention is that protected by patent 296773 To improve drying felt in such a way that it is also suitable for fine paper production suitable. For this purpose, instead of those used in the drying felt of patent 296773 Asbestos threads or fibers, animal fibers, threads or yarns, e.g. B. wool, used, which are braided with asbestos. In this way either a drying felt is obtained, in which the chain is made from animal or vegetable fibers and the weft is made from animal fibers Fibers, threads or yarns are made, which are spun with asbestos. Or you can receives a felt, the top of which is made of asbestos-covered, animal fibers, threads or yarn and its lower fabric as well as the warp made of animal fiber (wool) consists. While maintaining the advantages of the drying felt of patent 296773 a better and faster maneuvering achieved, so that the felt a much smoother, better managed upper side, which is used in the production of all papers, especially fine papers, brings significant advantages.
