Description

Filter für Luft, Dämpfe und. Gase aller Art unter Benutzung von Asbest als Filterstoff.Filters for air, vapors and. All kinds of gases using asbestos as filter material.

In the case of dry filtration of hot gases or vapors, what temperatures Above T000 C, the use of fabric filters made of plant fibers is itn Continuous operation not acceptable. The fiber withers and the filter becomes brittle. the Asbestos fabrics known up to now, however, fail in fine cleaning, knows this is required for blast furnace gases. Metal 1 or wire mesh do not meet the requirements the cleaning effect. The failure of asbestos fabrics is in the eurofibrousness Due to the mineral fiber, the fabric either becomes gnarled, thick or as a fine fabric no longer resistant for filter purposes. One has gone over to that, rivet wires to weave in, to cover wire mesh with mineral fiber as the impact surface, perforated Use trays or sieves as a carrier for the filter material or a percentage To interweave silk. Plant fibers have also been spun with asbestos fibers and filter fabric produced from the threads thus obtained. But it shows there the filter in the cleaning, suction or pressure periods in constant motion are found that the metal wires or tissue are brittle at the fastening points and tear easily. The filter according to the present invention aims at this Countering disadvantages by impregnating as a carrier for the filter material against combustion Plant fibers in the form of threads, cords, ribbons or the like with the mineral fiber can be processed into a fabric. The impregnated vegetable fibers come in handy only used at intervals in warp and weft, so that, as it were, a skeleton from these plant fibers into filter fabric. The filter thus obtained is elastic, can withstand movements, exposed to high temperatures and guarantees an excellent degree of purity of the gases.
