  • Sicherheitsseil
  • Die Erfindung betrifft ein Sicherheitsseil oder -gurt mit einem Kern und einer geflochtenen Hülle, wobei der Kern aus einer Natur- oder Kunststoff-Faser besteht.
  • Es sind Seile oder Gurte mit einem Kern und einer geflochtenen Hülle bekannt. Die Funktion dieser Seile ist derart, daß die Zuglast vom Kern aufgenommen wird und die Hülle den Kern schützt und zusammenhält. Hierbei können die Hülle und der Kern aus kostengünstigen natürlichen und/oder künstlichen Fasern bestehen. Es sind jedoch keine Seile oder Gurte mit einer, einen derartigen Kern vor höheren Temperaturen schützenden Hülle, bekannt.
  • Der Erfindung liegt daher die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine Hülle für Seile oder Gurte zu schaffen, die den Kern vor höheren Temperaturen schützt.

  • Diese Aufgabe wird nach der Erfindung in der Weise gelöst, daß das als nicht entflammbar ausgebildete Seil oder der Gurt einen Kern aus einer imprägnierten Naturfaser oder einer schwer entflammbaren Kunststoff-Faser aufweist und die Hülle aus einem Aramidfaser-Geflecht -Wicklung besteht. -Ir der Figur ist ein Seil und ein Gurt nach der Erfindung wiedergeseben.
  • Das Seil 1 und der Gurt 2 bestehen jeweils aus einem Kern 11 bzw. 21 und einer geflochtenen Hülle 12 bzw. einer gewebten Hülle 22. Für den Kern 17 bzw. 21 können organische Fasern, z. B.. Hanf- oder Kunststoffasern, z. B. Polyester, verwendet werden. Bei einem Gurt 2 sind die flachen Seiten der Hülle 22 durch Nähte 23 miteinander verbunden. Um das Seil 1 bzw. den Gurt 2 gegen die Einwirkung von Hitze zu schützen, werden die Hanffasern vor ihrer Verarbeitung imprägniert, damit es bei der Hitzeeinwirkung nicht zu einer Schwelgasbildung kommt oder diese verzögert wird. Bei Kunststoffasern ist der Kunststoff so eingestellt, daß der Sauerstoffindex größer als 30 ist. Die Hülle 12, 22 besteht aus einem Aramidfaser-Geriecht oder -Wicklung und dient als Hitzeschutzmantel.
  • Aramidfasern schmelzen nicht und verkohlen erst ab 4250 C unter geringer Rauchentwicklung.
  • Die einzelnen Fasern der Hülle 12, 22 verlaufen so, daß sie sich unter einem stumpfen Winkel kreuzen. Wenn nun infolge höherer Wärmeeinwirkung der im Normalzustand die Last aufnehmende Kern 1i, 21 zerstört ist, wird die Last von der Hülle 12, 22 übernommen, indem infolge der Belastung die Hülle sich verlängert und der stumpfe Winkel unter dem sich die Fasern im Normalzustand kreuzen, in einen spitzen Winkel übergeht. Hierdurch besitzt das Seil 1 bzw. der Gurt 2 in bezug auf höhere Temperaturen beträchtliche Sicherheitseigenschaften.

Claims (2)

  1. Patentansprüche 1. Sicherheits-Seil oder -Gurt mit einem Kern und einer geflochtenen Hülle, wobei der Kern aus einer Natur-oder Kunststoff-Faser besteht, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das als nicht entflammbar ausgebildete Seil (1) oder der Gurt (2) einen Kern (11, 21) aus einer imprägnierten Naturfaser oder einer schwerentflammbaren Kunststoffaser aufweist und die Hülle (12, 22) aus einem Aramidfaser-Geflecht oder -Wicklung besteht.
  2. 2. Seil oder Gurt nach Anspruch:1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß bei dem als Sicherheitsseil ausgebildeten Seil (1) oder Gurt (2-) die einzelnen Fasern des Aramid-Hüllengeflechts einander unter einem stumpfen Winkel ( ) kreuzen, so daß bei Inanspruchnahme der Sicherheitseigenschaften des Seiles (1) oder des Gurtes (2) die Hülle (12, 22) die Last übernimmt und der stumpfe Winkel < ) sich in einen spitzen Winkel verändert.
