Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Tretkurbellager der o.a. Art. Derartige Lager bestehen aus einem metallischen Lagergehäuse, einer die Tretkurbeln tragenden Tretkurbelwelle/ zwei Wälzlagern und zwei Lagerdeckeln. Bei den bekannten Bauausführunger, werden die Wälzlager und die Tretkurbelwelle in mehr oder weniger aufwendiger Ausgestaltung nacheinander in das bereits mit dem Rahmen verbundene Tretlagergehäuse eingelegt und dort unter Verwendung zusätzlicher Lagersicherungen zu einem Ganzen montiert. Hoher Montagezeitaufwand und Montage -üngenauigkeiten. sind die Folge. Nach der Erfindung soll eine Fertigungsvereinfachung und eine Senkung der Fertigungskosten in Verbindung mit einer Qualitätsverbesserung dadurcn erreicht werden, daß die Tretkurbelwelle mit den beidendigen Wälzlagern in einer Kunststoffhülse angeordnet sind und alle Bauelemente zusammen mit den Lagerdeckeln eine vormontierte kompakte Baueinheit bilden, die ihrerseits in das Tretlagergehäuse einpreßbar ist.
