Description
The invention relates to a method for spinning paper yarn from several pa. piercing tapes. In the known methods of this type, the related Paper tapes placed on top of each other dry and in this position through the moistening device led to what they in a trich-. ter are pre-rounded and then directed to the spindle. As a result of being laid on top of each other of the dry paper tapes before moistening, the moisture cannot be evenly distributed over all paper tapes, in particular, the middle bands located between the outer paper bands are used much less moistened than the outer layers of paper. In addition, the spindle train of the paper tapes lying on top of one another not evenly during the moistening is taken up, but the tapes are stretched to different degrees, so that the resulting paper yarn one, proportionately low strength.
The invention aims to avoid these disadvantages, and is that the associated Paper ribbons separated from each other before they enter the funnel dragged over a moistened felt pad and thereby moistened individually.
A device suitable for carrying out the method is shown in the drawing for example illustrated.

The paper strips 1 to be spun are wound onto rolls 2 in the usual way. In the illustrated embodiment, three strips of paper are made from each. spun a thread. The paper strips run off the rollers 2 and pass via a guide roller 3 onto a bridge 4, which is covered with dampened felt and which is arranged in a water box S. The felt covering consists of a lower felt layer 6 l and a felt layer 7 arranged on it. The upper felt layer dips into the water in the container 5 on both sides of the bridge 4. The lower felt layer 6 is provided with holes, as FIG. 4 shows. This prevents the felt from sticking to the bridge 4 and enables the upper layer of felt to be moistened regularly. The holes in the lower felt form collecting spaces on the bridge 4, in which excess water can collect, which is absorbed by the upper felt layer when needed, thereby ensuring that the upper felt layer is kept at the required degree of moistening. The absorption of liquid by the felt layers depends on the liquid level in the box 5.
Die Brücke 4 besteht aus gewölbtem Blech. In den . Schenkeln der Blechwölbung sindThe bridge 4 consists of curved sheet metal. In the . Legs of the sheet metal arch are
