Die Zündschnur wird mittels eines Reibfeuerzeuges h in Brand gesteckt, das mit einem Zug i in Verbindung steht. Dieser Zug endigt in einer druckknopfartigen Klaue k, welche beim Eindrücken der Patrone den Knopf I erfaßt, in den der Schieber c endet. Zieht man den Abzug d zurück, so zieht der Schieber c am Zug i und das Reibfeuerzeug h flammt auf und steckt die Zündschnur in Brand. Darauf explodiert die erste Patrone und so weiter alle anderen, wie vorher angegeben. Die Hülsen der abgeschossenen Patronen werden durch darunterliegende Federn« nach vorn herausgeschleudert.
