Es soll beispielsweise verhindert werden, daß beim Auftauen tiefgefrorener Speisen einzelne Bereiche des Auf taugutes bereits gegart werden, während die übrigen Teile noch tiefgefroren sind. Wie aus Fig. 2 ersichtlich, sind entlang des zugespitzten Fühlerteiles 4 in unterschiedlichem Abstand zur Handhabe 3 Temperaturfühler I, II, III, IV vorgesehen, die über allgemein mit 5 bezeichnete Meßleitungen separat zur Handhabe 3~geführt sind, von wo aus sie in nicht weiter dargestellter Weise über eine gemeinsame Meßleitung 6 vorzugsweise über Steckverbindung mit einer nicht dargestellten elektrisch oder elektronischen Auswerteeinrichtung verbindbar sind. Beim Ausführungsbeispiel gemäß Fig. 1 ist an der Handhabe 3 ein Spannmittel in Form von elastischen Kunststoff-Spannbändern 7 befestigt, durch die der in das Fleischstück 1 eingesteckte Speisenthermometer mit diesem Fleischstück arretierbar ist, wobei die Spannbänder 7 das Fleischstück zumindest teilweise umgreifen.In Fig. 1, 1 denotes a piece of meat which, for example, is in a Microwave oven or in the case of a frozen piece of meat should be thawed. Aus Fig. 2 und 3 ist zu entnehmen, daß von den Temperaturfühlern bzw. im Falle der Fig. 3 von den Fühlerteilen wenigstens eines sich in unmittelbarer Nähe der Speisenoberfläche befindet, derart, daß bei der Wärmebehandlung der Speise se die jeweilige Oberflächentemperatur der Speise erfaßt werden kann. Ferner ist wenigsten ein weiterer Temperaturfühler IV bzw. im Falle der Fig. 3 ein weiterer Fühlerteil 11 so placiert, daß damit die Kerntemperatur der Speise erfaßt werden kann. Weitere Temperaturfühler z.B. II und III bzw. Fühlerteile 10 mit daran angeordneten Temperaturfühlern sind dazwischen vorgesehen, um auch die Temperatur der Speise zwischen dem Speisenkern und seiner Oberfläche zu messen.
