Bei der vorliegenden Kunsthand geschieht dieses Festhalten des 3. bis 5. Fingers erfindungsgemäß selbsttätig, wenn der Daumen in die Spitzgreifstellung gebracht wird. Er drückt dabei mittels des auf seiner Drehachse sitzenden Hebels b (Fig. 1 und 3) den auf der Welle c festsitzenden Schrägnocken d unter Anspannung der Feder e herum, wodurch die gleichfalls auf c festsitzenden Haken f in Aussparungen g der hinteren Fingerglieder h hineingreifen. So werden diese Hinterglieder des 3. bis 5. Fingers festgehalten, während der Zeigefinger sich unter dem Einfluß der Schlußfeder i schließen kann. Die Finger sind hier zweigelenkig ausgebildet und das Vorderglied der am Hinterglied festgehaltenen Finger kann sich beim Schließen der Hand krümmen. So entsteht eine natürlich aussehende, den Greifvorgang nicht störende Handstellung beim Spitzgreifen. In Fig. 1 ist j der Zeigefinger (ausgezogen in offener, punktiert in Spitzgreifstellung) und k der Mittelfinger in festgehaltener Spitzgreifstellung. Wird der Daumen aus der Spitzgreifstellung in die Breitgreifstellung gebracht, so zieht die Feder e die.
