Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Regeleinrichtung für einen Dieselmotor, bei dem Einspritzpumpe und Einspritzdüse eine einem Motorzylinder zugeordnete Einheit bilden, wobei die Einspritzpumpe durch einen Flxehgewxchtsregler geregelt wird, und die von Einspritzpumpe und Einspritzdüse gebildete Einheit bzw. Einheiten in einem Einbauraum innerhalb eines Gehäuses angeordnet ist bzw- sind. Die Regelung einer Einspritzpumpe, welche in üblicher Weise am Zylinderkopf des Motors angebaut ist, erfolgt mittels einer verschiebbaren oder verdrehbaren Regelstange, in die die Fliehgewichte über eine federbelastete Muffe eingreifen. Bei den bekannten Anordnungen wird der Regler als getrenntes Organ an den Motor angebaut und der Eingriff der Regelstange ist an einem Punkt außerhalb des Raumes, an dem die Einspritzdüsen sitzen, vorgesehen. Der gesamte Raum ist während des Betriebes mit öldunst erfüllt, sodaß alle Teile gleichmäßig geschmiert werden.
