Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen Apparat zum Ausgraben und Fortschaffen von Erde, Sand, Schlamm und sonstigem Material.The invention relates to an apparatus for excavating and removing earth, Sand, mud and other material.

Der die verticale Welle mit dem Kranz für Messer und Pflugschare tragende Cylinder J ist an einem Gerüst des Baggerbootes aufgehängt (s. Fig. ι und 2). Der Schaufelkranz besteht aus einem Ring, welcher durch Arme und eine centrale Nabe mit der verticalen Treibwelle verbunden ist, wie Fig. 5 zeigt. An diesem Ring sind' die Pflugschare A befestigt, so dafs sie bei der Drehung der Welle in einem Kreis pflügen. Man läfst die rotirenden Pflugschare dadurch gegen die Masse der auszugrabenden Erde drücken, dafs man den Vordertheil des Bootes in einem Kreisbogen schwingen läfst. Durch diesen Druck würde aber eine Festklemmung der Pflugschare in der auszubaggernden Erdmasse entstehen und die Drehung derselben verhindert, wenn man nicht für gleichzeitige Zerkleinerung der zu hebenden Masse sorgen würde. Es geschieht dies durch die Messer A² B², welche über und unter dem Kranz unmittelbar vor den Pflugscharen an dem Kranz befestigt sind, wie Fig. 6 zeigt. Die unteren Messer A² schneiden durch die auszuhebende Erdmasse und zerkleinern dieselbe, so dafs die Pflugschare dieselben aufnehmen und nach der Mitte des Kranzes werfen können.
