Claims (19)

1. Auf einer Umfangswand eines Behälters (1) aus sprödem Material, insbesondere einer Glasflasche, anzubringender Splitterschutzmantel (17), dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Splitterschutzmantel (17) als flächiger, die Umfangswand (3) in Umfangsrichtung im wesentlichen vollständig umschließender Mehrschichtenmantel mit einer auf der Umfangswand (3) haftenden, viskoelastischen Klebstoffschicht (31) und wenigstens einer über der Klebstoffschicht (31) angeordneten Folienschicht (27) aus Kunststoffmaterial ausgebildet ist.1.
