Claims (10)

1. Elastische Ringdichtung (7) mit einer als Spannfeder (11) ausgebildeten Spiralfeder zum Andrücken von deren Dichtfläche (9) oder Dichtflächen (9) an die Dichtungsfläche (10) eines abzudichtenden Bauteils, insbesondere Dicht­ manschette für ein Kugelgelenk (1) zum Abdichten des Kugel­ zapfens (5) und/oder des Kugelgelenkgehäuses (2), wobei zwischen den einzelnen Spiralwindungen (14) der Spiralfeder ein Abstand und somit ein Zwischenraum (16) vorhanden ist, die Spiralfeder ganz oder teilweise in das Dichtungsmaterial (8) eingeformt ist und die Zwischenräume mit dem Dichtungs­ material (8) ausgefüllt sind, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Dichtfläche (9) bzw. Dichtflächen (9) ein- bzw. beidseitig der durch die Spannfeder (11) aufgespannten virtuellen Mittelebene (19) vorgesehen ist bzw. sind und deren lichte Weite (17) kleiner als die lichte Weite (18) der Spannfeder (11) ist.1.
