Description

Die Erfindung betrifft Abdeckeinrichtungen für Mannlöcher von jener Art, bei welcher ein abnehmbarer Deckel in einen Außenrahmen hineinpaßt und der Deckel ebenfalls als Rahmen hergestellt ist (im folgenden als "innerer Rahmen" bezeichnet), der mit Zement oder anderem geeigneten Setzmaterial gefüllt ist. Der in meiner Patentschrift beschriebene innere und äußere Rahmen sind vorzugsweise aus Aluminium, was es ermöglicht, die Rahmenelemente als Extrusionsteile zu bilden, entsprechend auf Länge geschnitten. Die Abdeckeinrichtung gemäß Fig. 1 ist am besten rechteckig in der Draufsicht und hat einen Außenrahmen 1, umfassend vier L-förmige Rahmenelemente 2, angeordnet über der Öffnung 3 und an Ort und Stelle gehalten durch Zement 4 mittels verkeilender Flansche 4a, die entlang der rückwärtigen Flächen der Rahmenelemente ausgeformt sind. Der innere Rahmen 5 ist in gleicher Weise aus vier L-förmigen Rahmenelementen 6 geformt, die innerhalb der äußeren Rahmenelemente satt anliegen, besonders um deren obere Kanten, wo die Rahmen mittels eines Dichtungsstreifens 7 gegeneinander abgedichtet sind. Die horizontalen Schenkel der inneren Rahmenelemente 6 haben jeweils eine genutete untere Fläche 8, die auf der oberen Fläche 9 des entsprechenden horizontalen Schenkels der äußeren Rahmenelemente 2 ruht. Auf diese Weise ist ein anderes Befestigungsmittel, wie ein Klebstoff, zum sicheren Befestigen nicht notwendig. Claims

1. A manhole cover device, wherein a removable cover fits into an outer frame (2) made as an inner frame (5) filled with cement (11) or other setting material, characterized in that the upper edges of the frame (2, 6) are designed to form a wedging surface to which decorative strips (12) having a corresponding mating surface are attached, that the wedging and mating surfaces form a cooperating tongue (18, 19; 22; 24) and a groove (15, 16; 21) of dovetail-shaped cross-section, and that one of the side walls (20, 20a; 25) defining the groove is spread outwards, whereby during assembly the cooperating tongue and groove can be easily assembled together and the one wall then pressed against engages longitudinally with the corresponding side wall of the tongue to achieve a secure attachment.

2. Cover device according to claim 1, characterized in that the tongue and the groove have symmetrical cross sections in the assembled state, and that the groove (21) is provided with the decorative strip (12), and the groove (22) is arranged on the frame.

3. Cover device according to claim 1, characterized in that the tongue and the groove in the assembled state have asymmetrical cross-sections and that the opposing side walls have different shapes.

4. Cover device according to claim 3, characterized in that the tongue (24) is molded onto the decorative strip.

5. Cover device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that an insulating protective layer (23, 26) is provided between the frame parts and the decorative strips (12) in order to prevent a chemical reaction between the two latter.

6. Cover device according to claim 5 as dependent on claim 4, characterized in that the insulating layer (26) has the shape of a band which is attached to and around the tongue (24) on one side before it is fitted into the groove cooperating with it.

7. Covering device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the retraction of the individual flattened wall is accomplished by moving a pressure roller along it in order to bring it into contact with the corresponding tongue side wall.
