The invention relates to a further embodiment of the subject matter of patent 298855. As shown schematically in FIGS. 1 and 2, the highly explosive summons α can also be arranged so that it is not in direct contact with the actual tank projectile. Rather, it can be placed in front of a well-known cap β made of soft metal, z. B. made of wrought iron, arranged or embedded in this. The device is made so that the metal of this cap e forms a relatively soft cushion between the explosive summons α and the hardened tip of the armored bullet c . What is achieved in this way is that parts of the hardened projectile tip are less easily detonated when the highly explosive summons detonates than can be the case with the embodiments specified in the main patent. The cap β made of softer metal between the projectile c and the highly explosive pre-charge α not only protects the hardened projectile tip from being shattered by the explosive effect of the pre-charge, but also improves the penetration performance of the armored projectile c in a known manner thanks to its flexibility. While the force exerted by the highly explosive summons a still has its full effect on the resistant target, the actual armored projectile c is thus less easily damaged; the possibility of a smooth penetration of the resistant target through the armored projectile is thus increased. The definition of the highly explosive charge α can, for. B. by the envelope b, as indicated in the main patent, are effected.
