The invention relates to a sun protection roller blind according to the preamble of claim I.

Such sun protection blinds are well known. There are versions similar to a roller blind that can be retrofitted to any window.

On the other hand, there are designs that are already integrated into the window frame, i.e. the roller blind box, which accommodates the roller blind mechanism and the roller blind, forms the upper end of the window frame, and the side frame parts contain guide grooves for lateral guidance of the roller blind. It is also known to provide an insect screen roller blind in addition to such a sun blind, which is designed like a

.fly screen and sits on a separate shaft. This shaft is also housed in the roller blind box, whereby the insect screen roller blind has separate lateral guide grooves in the window frame. Depending on requirements, either the sun blind or the insect screen roller blind or both in combination can be used.

Sun protection and insect protection blinds housed together in a roller blind box have the disadvantage that the mechanism in the roller blind box becomes relatively complex because a separate shaft has to be provided for each blind and a relatively large amount of space is needed in the window frame for the separate arrangement of the side guides of the blinds.

The object of the invention is therefore to improve a sun protection roller blind in such a way that a simplified construction is achieved and the production of the roller blind becomes more cost-effective overall.

This object is solved by the characterizing features of patent claim 1.

The invention is therefore characterized in that the sun protection blind is simultaneously designed as an insect protection blind.

The roller blind therefore offers the advantage of providing privacy from the outside and protection from the sun and insects inside, while still ensuring good visibility from the inside.

Another advantage is that the construction of the roller blind mechanism is much simpler, as two separate shafts are no longer required for the sun protection roller blind and an insect protection roller blind, as was previously the case.

In a preferred embodiment, the outside of the roller blind is light or mirrored, while the inside is dark to black. This improves the sun protection effect and visibility from the inside.

The sun protection blind is preferably made of a plastic film or a textile material with a uniform hole pattern. The holes or perforations are punched, for example, and preferably have a diameter of approx. 1-1.5 mm to keep out even small insects.

Essentially, the entire surface of the film or fabric is provided with a hole pattern, with the horizontal spacing of the holes being smaller than their vertical spacing.

The holes are preferably staggered from row to row and symmetrical to each other in every second row.

It is also possible that the holes are only provided on a part of the surface of the roller blind, for example in order to achieve a better darkening effect of the roller blind.

An embodiment of the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to drawing figures.

Figure 1 shows a roller blind which consists of a sun-insect screen 1 which is rolled up on a shaft under spring tension. The free end of the sun-insect screen 1 carries a closing strip 3 which, as described further below, also serves as a guide in the window frame 7.

A tab 4 is attached to the end strip 3, which serves both as a pull tab for operating the roller blind 1 and for securing the roller blind when it is fully extended. For this purpose, a hanging button S is arranged on the underside of the window, in which the tab 4 can be hooked with a corresponding opening.

The roller blind 1 arranged on the shaft 2 is accommodated in a roller blind box 5, which protects it from dirt, mechanical and weather-related influences when not in use. The mechanism for supporting the shaft 2 is also arranged in the roller blind box 5. In this embodiment, the roller blind box 5 simultaneously forms the upper end of the window frame.

The side frame parts 7 of the window frame also form the guide for the end strip 3 of the roller blind

1. For this purpose, each frame part 7 has a continuous vertical guide groove 8 on the side facing the roller blind 1, in which the ends of the end strip 3 are held so as to be displaceable.

Figure 2 shows an enlarged section of the sun and insect protection roller blind 1 according to the invention. One can see a large number of holes or perforations S ₁ which, on the one hand, make the roller blind 1 somewhat translucent and, on the other hand, keep insects out.

The holes 9 have a diameter of approximately 1 - 1.5 mm and are preferably arranged in staggered rows, with every second row being symmetrical.

Claims (8)

1. Sun protection roller blind, characterized in that it is designed as a sun and insect protection roller blind ( 1 ) at the same time. 2. Sun protection roller blind according to claim 1, characterized in that it consists of a plastic film or a textile material which is perforated with a hole pattern ( 9 ). 3. Sun protection roller blind according to one of claims 2 or 2, characterized in that the outside of the sun insect protection roller blind ( 1 ) is light or mirrored, and the inside is dark to black. 4. Sun protection roller blind according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the entire surface of the sun insect protection roller blind ( 1 ) is provided with the perforation ( 9 ). 5. Sun protection roller blind according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the holes ( 9 ) are provided only on a part of the sun insect protection roller blind ( 1 ). 6. Sun protection blind according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the diameter of the holes ( 9 ) is approximately 1-1.5 mm. 7. Sun protection roller blind according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the horizontal distance between the holes ( 9 ) is smaller than their vertical distance. 8. Sun protection roller blind according to one of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the holes ( 9 ) are arranged offset from row to row and are symmetrical to one another in every second row.
