Die Nachteile dieser Instrumente bestehen in Ihrer Schwergängigkeit, sowie der Schwierigkeit bei der Entfernung der Schneidreste, der mangelnden Schneidgenauigkeit, und dem Risiko einer Rissbildung in dem verbliebenen Knochen durch die höhere Druckbelastung, ebenso einer geringeren Lennsdauer durch zu schnellem Verschleiß. Der gabelförmigen Scharnierkopf (9) greift zwischen die Abstandstücke (12) und (13) wobei das Abstandsstück (13) ein sch rag verzahntes Zahnrad darstellt, welches in eine Zahnsange (14) so eingreift, daß das Rohrstück (6) beim vorwärts- und rückwärtsbewegen eine Drehung ausführt.The construction is shown in Fig. 1.
