Warnvprrichtungen üblicher Bauart weisen einen akustischen und / oder einen .optischen Signalgeber auf, der den Führer eines Fahrzeugs darauf hinweist, daß der Fahrtrichtungsanzeiger eingeschaltet ist.Commonly designed warning devices have an acoustic and/or optical signaling device that informs the driver of a vehicle that the direction indicator is switched on.

Im Alltag bekannt ist diese Situation durch nicht'ausgeschaltete „Blinker" bei Zweiträdern. Mit der Erfindung wird erreicht, daß die Information des eingeschalteten Fahrtrichtungsahzeigers den Fahrer erreicht, ohne daß dieser seinen Blickrichtung vom Verkehrsgeschehen abwenden muß und ohne das evt. akustische Signale benutzt werden müssen, die bei einer hohen Umfeldlautstärke überhört werden können. Die Vibratoren sind so konstruiert, daß bei gegebener Notwendigkeit die Intensität und Frequenz der Vibrationen dauerhaft oder einstellbar veränderbar ist, um von evt. vorhandenen anderweitigen Vibrationen unterschieden werden zu können, die z.B. durch Motoren auftreten.The vibrators transmit their vibrations to places where the driver is in permanent contact.
