Claims (17)

1. Illuminant ( 1 ) with a large number of light-emitting diodes ( 2 ), characterized in that at least some of the light-emitting diodes ( 2 ) are arranged such that their main emission directions ( 7 ) diverge.
2. Illuminant according to claim 1, characterized in that the light-emitting diodes ( 2 ) are arranged at least substantially in a flat surface ( 8 ) and at least partially tilted against each other.
3. Illuminant ( 1 ) with a plurality of light-emitting diodes ( 2 ), in particular according to claim 1, characterized in that
that the light-emitting diodes ( 2 ) are arranged distributed in a surface ( 8 ) which is at least curved in an extension direction, and
that the light-emitting diodes ( 2 ) are arranged with main emission directions ( 7 ) pointing away from the center of curvature.
4. Illuminant according to claim 1 or 3, characterized in that the light-emitting diodes ( 2 ) in a cylindrical jacket-shaped, in particular circular cylindrical jacket-shaped surface ( 8 ) are arranged distributed.

7. Illuminant according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the illuminant ( 1 ) has at least one socket ( 10 ) for electrical connection of the light-emitting diodes ( 2 ) and for holding the illuminant ( 1 ).
8. Illuminant according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the illuminant ( 1 ) has an at least partially lichtdurchläs siges, in particular made of glass, the LEDs ( 2 ) at least partially surrounding housing ( 12 ).

12. Illuminant according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the illuminant ( 1 ) has a reflector ( 18 ) assigned to the light-emitting diodes ( 2 ).
13. Illuminant according to claim 12, characterized in that the reflector ( 18 ) is arranged together with the light-emitting diodes ( 2 ) in a common, at least section-wise translucent housing ( 12 ).
14. Illuminant according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the light-emitting diodes ( 2 ) are designed such that they emit essentially white light.
15. Illuminant according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the illuminant ( 1 ) is designed such that individual groups of light-emitting diodes ( 2 ) can optionally be switched on or on.
16. Illuminant according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the light-emitting diodes ( 2 ) are at least partially arranged in lines or rows, the main emission directions ( 7 ) of the light-emitting diodes ( 2 ) of a line or row in particular at least substantially in common same level.
