Strampelanzug für FrühgeburtenRomper suit for premature babies
Romper suits of the usual design are only available for babies over 50 cm in length and with a corresponding body weight. They are sewn up at the sides up to the usual armholes and therefore cannot be used for premature babies in incubators because electrodes and similar medical devices cannot be connected. This means that babies currently have to lie in incubators wearing only a diaper, even though they need a high level of physical warmth.
Furthermore, conventional rompers can be closed with buttons or similar hard fastening material on the shoulder .
This leads to pressure points on the extremely sensitive newborns. Putting on and taking off the romper is tiring and time-consuming for the baby and the nursing staff.
The invention specified in claim 1 is based on the problem of creating a romper suit for premature babies under 50 cm in length, which is at the same time suitable for providing medical and nursing care to the baby in the incubator without great physical strain for the child and without great effort for the nursing staff.
These problems are solved by the longitudinal openings of the romper on sides A and B (see claim 1) ·
durch Anbringen von Klettverschlüssen am Strampelanzug oben rechts (C) und oben links (D) in Höhe des Schlüsselbeins (siehe Schutzanspruch 2) gelöst.by attaching Velcro fasteners to the romper suit at the top right (C) and top left (D) at the level of the collar bone (see claim 2).
.The invention means that premature babies no longer have to lie naked in the incubator.
The openings A and B on the long sides allow tubes and electrode cables to be led out. The baby can now also be connected to medical devices when it is dressed.
The romper suit can be easily folded down to the groin area thanks to its long openings and Velcro fasteners. This means that medical equipment can be easily replaced and checked at any time without the premature baby being moved or strained excessively.
It is also possible to change diapers without having to undress the baby.
