Fahre ich jetzt mit dem Fahrzeug durch ein Wohngebiet, mit zulässiger Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 30 km/h, aktiviere ich durch drücken von Programmtaste 1/a (siehe Skizze) automatisch die Höchstgeschwindigkeit des Fahrzeuges, welches uneingeschränkt bedient werden kann, außer daß dieses nur 30 km/h schnell sein wird. Komme ich jetzt aus dem Wohngebiet in eine Ortschaft mit eine zulässigen Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 50 km/h, drücke ich nur Programmtaste 2/a (siehe Skizze) und das Fahrzeug selbst fährt jetzt ein maximales Tempo von 50 knn/h. Die Programmtasten sind gegeneinander verriegelt. Um die Geschwindigkeitsüberwachung zu deaktivieren, darf keine der Programmtasten gedrückt sein.
