Um das bei Strohpressen bisheriger Bauart beim Vorwärtsgang des Kolbens auftretende
Festklemmen von Stroh zwischen dem Kolben und der oberen und unteren Wandung des
Preßkanals sowie ein Aufquülen des eingestampften Strohes beim Rückgang des Stampfers
zu verhüten, ist nach der Erfindung, von der die Zeichnung ein Ausfiihrungsbeispiel in drei
Längsschnitten (Abb. ι bis 3) und in einem Querschnitt (Abb. 4) darstellt, der Kolben a
auf der vorderen Stirnfläche mit hornartig vorwärts gekrümmten Vorsprüngen δ versehen,
die durch Schlitze· der oberen und der unteren Wandung des Preßkanals c treten und aus
diesem herausragen. Bei dem dargestellten Beispiel sind fünf solcher Vorsprünge (Abb. 4)
angenommen. Um beim Aufwärtsgang des Stampfers das eingestampfte Stroh zur rechten
Zeit von diesem abnehmen zu können, sind die zum Antrieb des Kolbens und des Stampfers
dienenden Kurbeln derart angeordnet, daß der Kolben beim Aufwärtsgang des Stampfers bereits
so weit vorgerückt ist, daß die Vorsprünge δ das eingestampfte Stroh festhalten und nach
vorn drücken, somit auch ein Aufquülen des Strohes und Festklemmen zwischen Kolben
und Wandung verhindern. Der Preßkolben a ist mit Schlitzen f versehen, durch die die
Bügel d des Stampfers hindurchtreten, so daß der Stampfer und der Preßkolben sich nicht

den Stampferbügeln d abkämmen und nach vorn und innen drücken. Das Festklemmen
