EffektgarnFancy yarn

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Effektgarn mit einem Seelenfaden und einer Ummantelung des Seelenfadens aus thermoplastischem Werkstoff. Derartige Effektgarne werden im Extrusions-Ummantelungsverfahren hergestellt und kommen beispielsweise im Dekorationsbereich oder auch in der Innenausstattung von Kraftfahrzeugen zum Einsatz. Effektgarne zeichnen sich dadurch aus, daß ein aus einem Garn oder Zwirn bestehender Seelenfaden mit einem thermoplastischen Material ummantelt wird. Der Seelenfaden dient als reine Armierung, die dazu dient, daß das ummantelte Garn insbesondere in Bezug auf die Dehnung problemlos verarbeitet werden kann.The invention relates to an effect yarn with a core thread and a sheathing of the core thread made of thermoplastic material.
