Abstract

The bag (2) consists of a hose (6) formed by a foil material which has two closed ends (8,10). At the first end (8) a pocket (12) is provided, incorporating one or more tie-wrap (16) cords. The pocket may be sewn to the hose by two or more parallel thread seams forming rings and extends to a maximum of 15 mm beyond the hose end. The second hose end (10) has an opening flap (20).

1. Bag (2) for cotton pads (4) with a film tube (6) for forming a substantially cylindrical bag wall, both ends (8, 10) of which are closed,

wherein the first end (8) of the film tube (6) is closed by a film base, and at this first end (8) at least one pocket (12, 13, 14) runs annularly around the film tube (6), in which at least one cord (16, 18) is arranged,

and wherein at least one opening device (20) is arranged in the region of the second end (10) of the film tube (6),

that the circumferential pocket (12, 13, 14) protrudes no more than 15 mm beyond the film base at the first end (8) or is not formed on the bag wall between the two ends so as to protrude beyond the film base.

2. Bag according to claim 1, characterized in that at least one circumferential pocket (14) is formed by a film strip which is fastened in a ring shape on the outside or inside of the bag wall (6) by means of at least two essentially parallel, ring-shaped circumferential seams.

3. Bag according to claim 2, characterized in that the film strip
