Hierzu weist die Blende mindestens ein mit einem Farbfilter versehenes Sichtfenster auf, das über die Blende bedarfsweise vor das Sichtfenster und den Leuchtkörper der Signallaterne zu verschwenken ist. Der Leuchtkörper wird auch heute noch häufig durch den Glühstrumpf einer Propangaslampe oder den Docht einer Petroleumlampe dargestellt in Verbindung mit einem Reflektor zur Erzeugung einer gleichmäßig leuchtenden Fläche definierter Abstrahlcharakteristik; es gibt aber auch Ausführungen von Formsignalen mit Signallampen als Leuchtkörper.Even today, semaphore signals are still frequently used to control rail operations. Hinter der Blende 5 befindet sich ein in Abstrahlrichtung durch eine farblose Lichtaustrittsscheibe 8 verschlossenes Signallaternengehäuse 9, wie es z. B. bislang zur Aufnahme einer Signallampe und eines Reflektors dient. Anstelle einer weitgehend punktförmig abstrahlenden Signallampe mit zugeordnetem Reflektor zum Duchleuchten des Blendenfilters ist erfindungsgemäß eine LED-Baugruppe 10 vorgesehen. Diese ist von scheibenförmiger Struktur mit auf ihrer der Blende zugewandten Seite angeordneten Leuchtdioden 11. Diese Leuchtdioden sind in einem Raster über die Darstellungsfläche des Blendenfilters verteilt angeordnet, wie es beispielsweise in Figur 2 zu sehen ist.
