The invention relates to a device for heating rooms by radiating heat, with a pipe forming a heating circuit and serving for heat radiation and a heat source, preferably a burner supplied with air and fuel, wherein the flowable heating medium or the combustion gases are conveyed through the pipe, if necessary by means of a fan.
A generic device for heating rooms by radiating heat is already known from DE-PS 25 19 091. In this device, a burner and a fan are installed within a closed pipe circuit. The burner produces gaseous combustion products. The fan is used to transport the gaseous medium through the pipe. During circulation, the heating medium that has cooled down is fed back into the circuit, is led past the burner and then passes the flame area, absorbing heat and mixing with freshly produced heating medium. Part of the cooled flow of heating medium must be directed outwards.
A device of this type for heating rooms is also known from the registered documents of DE-GM 93 10 646.7. However, like the previously mentioned device according to DE-PS 25 19 091, this device has the disadvantage that the heating medium cools down from the burner to the outlet end or to the recirculation. Accordingly, the temperature of the pipe decreases from the heat source to the outlet end or to the recirculation. The same applies to the heating output and thus to the heat sensation of people in the area of different locations under the pipe.
The invention is therefore based on the object of designing and developing a device for heating rooms by radiating heat of the type in question in such a way that a uniform pipe temperature can be achieved over the entire length of the pipe.
Danach ist die eingangs genannte Vorrichtung derart ausgestaltet, daß dieThe device according to the invention for heating rooms by radiating heat solves the above problem by the features of claim 1. According to this, the device mentioned at the beginning is designed in such a way that the
Pipeline comprises two pipe sections, one pipe section - inner pipe - is arranged inside the other pipe section - outer pipe - and the heating medium flows in the pipe sections in opposite directions.
According to the invention, it has first of all been recognized that the heating medium cooling down over the length of the pipe is problematic, especially since the room cannot be heated evenly with such a device. Furthermore, it has been recognized that even room heating can be achieved by subjecting the pipe of the device claimed here to the same outward-acting temperature over its entire length. This is also possible according to the invention in that the pipe comprises two pipe sections, with one pipe section - the inner pipe - being arranged inside the other pipe section - the outer pipe - so that the heating medium flows in the pipe sections in opposite directions.
In other words, the heating medium flows on a separate flow path to the end facing away from the burner, is diverted there and returns to the burner via the second separate flow path. This measure ensures that at every point in the pipe, and in fact over its entire length, the sum of the two temperatures of the heating medium in both pipe sections is almost or largely identical. As a result, the temperatures equalize over the entire length of the pipe, so that the pipe radiates heat evenly over its entire length with approximately the same amount of heat or at approximately the same temperature. Homogeneous heating of the room is thus guaranteed.
In the end, the outer pipe section or the outer pipe is reheated from the inside, or a heat exchange takes place between the outer pipe and the inner pipe, so that over the entire length of the pipe there is at least
weitgehend identische Oberflächentemperatur der Rohrleitung bzw. des Außenrohres ergibt.largely identical surface temperature of the pipeline or the outer pipe.
Now there are basically two ways of letting the heating medium flow through the two pipe sections. In a first alternative, the heating source or the burner could feed directly or indirectly into the outer pipe serving as the flow line in the area between the inner pipe and the outer pipe, so that the inner pipe serves as the return line. In a second alternative, it would be conceivable that the heating source or the burner feeds directly or indirectly into the inner pipe serving as the flow line and the outer pipe in the area between the inner pipe and the outer pipe serves as the return line. Both variants are possible, although a central arrangement of the feed or the burner for the direct supply of the inner pipe with heating medium is preferable, especially since this minimizes the construction effort. At this point, however, it should be noted that an indirect supply of the outer pipe or the inner pipe is possible, so that the heating source, e.g. a burner, can be arranged away from the pipe.
To ensure a uniform temperature distribution, the inner pipe extends essentially over the entire length of the outer pipe, so that the entire pipe length of the outer pipe can be used to heat a room homogeneously, at least over a certain length of the outer pipe.
With regard to a specific arrangement of the inner pipe within the outer pipe, the inner pipe could be arranged off-center in the outer pipe. The inner pipe could have a smaller distance to the outer pipe downwards than upwards, so that a better heat exchange to the outside is ensured. However, it is also possible to arrange the inner pipe coaxially in the outer pipe, which simplifies the assembly of the inner pipe.
Regardless of the specific arrangement of the inner tube in the outer tube, the inner tube could be positioned in the outer tube using spacers so that the position of the inner tube remains unchanged even under mechanical influence. This ensures uniform heat radiation over the entire operating period.
As already mentioned, the fan is an optional feature, namely a fan can be used when the flow rate of the heating medium on the inlet side is not sufficient to flow through the entire pipe. The fan could be arranged on the inlet side, the outlet side or between the flow sections of the inner pipe or, in a particularly advantageous manner, between the flow sections of the inner pipe and the outer pipe. In concrete terms, the fan could be arranged at the downstream end of the inner pipe and convey the heating medium flowing out of the inner pipe into the area between the inner pipe and the outer pipe. In this respect, the fan would provide forced guidance of the heating medium, whereby this can basically be any conveying device for conveying a flowable medium. The fan is only used here as an example to explain one of several possibilities.
In order to achieve an optimal design of the heating output, at least part of the heating medium is recirculated back into the flow via the return line. The non-recirculated part of the heating medium is discharged via an outlet preferably assigned to the outer pipe, whereby a corresponding part of the heating medium - from the heating source or in the form of air supplied to the burner and thus combustion gas - is supplied.
With regard to a particularly simple construction of the device according to the invention, it is advantageous if the pipeline is designed to be straight. In this respect, the inner pipe can be easily inserted into the outer pipe after it has been manufactured. In principle, however, it is also conceivable for the pipeline to be bent, curved or angled in order to optimally adapt to the conditions.
Letztendlich geht es hier darum,To further optimize the heating performance, it is advantageous if the outer pipe and/or the inner pipe have a surface that increases the surface area. This surface that increases the surface area could be formed by any surface structure, e.g. by ribs. Ultimately, the aim here is to
die zum Wärmetausch wirksame Oberfläche sowohl innerhalb des Außenrohres als auch des Außenrohres selbst zu vergrößern.to increase the surface area effective for heat exchange both within the outer tube and the outer tube itself.
The pipe that serves as a radiator for heat radiation is usually mounted on the ceiling or in the ceiling area and is intended to radiate downwards at a predefined angle. To this end, the outer pipe could be partially surrounded by thermal insulation so that downward radiation is encouraged and unwanted upward radiation, e.g. towards the ceiling of a factory hall, is at least largely avoided.
The outer tube could also be partially surrounded by a reflector, which is also preferably arranged above the outer tube. This reflector could reflect the upwardly directed heat radiation downwards and thus increase the heating effect or efficiency. As part of a combination of the two measures mentioned above, the reflector could have thermal insulation on the side facing away from the outer tube - preferably towards the ceiling.
As already mentioned, the thermal insulation and/or the reflector should be arranged above and possibly also to the side of the outer tube, so that the outer tube radiates downwards and possibly also to the side at a predefined angle.
Depending on requirements, it is particularly advantageous if the thermal insulation and/or the reflector can be rotated or pivoted around the longitudinal axis of the outer tube, so that an optionally changeable, targeted radiation can be set. In this respect, the device can be optimally adapted to the circumstances and can be adapted to a changed heat requirement in different areas of the room to be heated.
Als Heizquelle ist hier ein mit Luft und Brennstoff versorgter Brenner 3 dar-Fig. 1 in detail and Fig. 2 in a schematic overview show a device for heating rooms by radiating heat, whereby this device comprises a pipe 2 forming a heating circuit 1 and serving for heat radiation. gestellt, der unmittelbar in die Rohrleitung 2 hineinfeuert. Furthermore, a fan 4 is provided which conveys the heating medium - in this case the combustion gas - through the pipe 2. At this point, it should be emphasized once again that the heating medium can be any flowable heating medium that is suitable for transporting heat. The heating medium could be generated externally and fed to the heating circuit 1 via a line. The heating medium could be waste heat from an industrial process or the like. For the sake of simplicity, the burner 3 is shown as the heat source in the embodiment chosen here, whereby the teaching is in no way restricted to the use of a burner.
According to the invention, the pipeline 2 comprises two pipe sections, whereby one pipe section, namely the inner pipe 5, is arranged inside the other pipe section, the outer pipe 6. The heating medium flows in the two pipe sections - inner pipe 5 and outer pipe 6 - in opposite directions, whereby the flow direction is shown by the arrows 7 (supply) and 8 (return).
As already mentioned, the burner 3 fires directly into the inner pipe 5 serving as the flow line 7, so that the outer pipe 6 in the area between the inner pipe 5 and the outer pipe 6 serves as the return line 8.
Fig. 1 also shows that the inner tube 5 extends essentially over the entire length of the outer tube 6, with the inner tube 5 being arranged centrally or coaxially in the outer tube 6. According to the illustration in Fig. 4, the inner tube is positioned in the outer tube 6 by means of spacer elements 9, whereby these spacer elements 9 are not shown in Fig. 1.
Fig. 1 further shows that the fan 4 is arranged between the flow sections of the inner pipe 5 and the outer pipe 6, namely specifically at the downstream end 10 of the inner pipe 5, whereby the fan 4 conveys the heating medium flowing out of the inner pipe 5 into the area between the inner pipe 5 and the outer pipe 6 into the return line 8.
In Fig. 1 and 2 it is further indicated that a part of the heating medium returns to the flow line 7 via the return line 8 or is recirculated. The non-recirculated part of the heating medium is discharged via an outlet 11 associated with the outer pipe 6, whereby a corresponding part of the heating medium is supplied - in this case via the burner 3.
In the embodiment shown in Fig. 1, the pipeline or the inner pipe 5 and the outer pipe 6 are designed to be straight. Furthermore, the inner pipe 5 and the outer pipe 6 have an enlarged surface 12, 13, which is achieved by structuring the surface. For the sake of simplicity, the structuring is not shown in the figures.
The heating circuit 1 shown in Fig. 2 has a schematic representation of the essential elements of the device according to the invention, although structural features are not shown there. Fig. 2 merely serves to illustrate the functionality in relation to the heating circuit.
Fig. 3 shows a cross-section of another embodiment of the device according to the invention, in which the inner tube 5 is arranged off-center in the outer tube 6, namely displaced downwards from the center.
According to the illustration in Fig. 4, the embodiment shown therein involves a central arrangement of the inner tube 5 in the outer tube 6, whereby the inner tube 5 is positioned in the outer tube 6 by means of the spacer elements 9.
Fig. 5 shows a schematic representation of only the outer tube, which is shielded in the upper area by a reflector 14 for reflecting the heat radiation.
