Description
I f I f
Beer, juice, water, lemonade, etc. are usually bottled or canned and offered for sale. And these drinks are usually poured from the bottle or can into a glass and drunk from the glass. These bottles or cans are sold by drinks manufacturers (e.g. breweries) in crates and are given out individually (in most cases as a returnable bottle). The bottle is returned to the point of sale after it has been emptied and collected in the crates (for return to the drinks manufacturer). If the drink is not drunk directly from the bottle or can, a container - primarily a drinking glass - is required; for bottles, a bottle opener is also required.
Problemproblem
The invention specified in claims 1-9 is based on the problem of creating a drinking glass that simultaneously replaces the bottle or can or allows the bottle to be opened without a bottle opener and (without discoloring the glass, as is the case with beer or lemonade bottles, for example) is protected from UV rays and dirt and, despite the paper cover, allows the contents of the glass and the manufacturer of the drink (advertising) to be recognized.
This problem is solved with the features listed in claims 1-9.
The invention means that it is not necessary to pour the drink from the bottle/can into a glass. The drink is served in the glass with the cap on and is ready to drink after the paper wrapper and cap have been removed.
On many occasions (e.g. construction sites, camping, station bars, etc.) the drink - primarily beer - is drunk directly from the bottle. This is understandable in these cases, as many such places lack suitable cleaning facilities. If a glass is used that replaces the bottle/can or is also the bottle/can, this is no longer necessary. The glass is returned to the drinks manufacturer for cleaning and refilling. There are many places where it can be used; e.g. canteens, cafeterias, bar bars, kiosks and of course in the home, privately, etc. Due to its diameter, the glass can be transported in the crates usually designed for beer bottles.
In addition to protecting against UV rays and dirt, the paper sleeve also serves to make the glass look visually appealing, to identify the contents of the glass, and as a surface for the company logo of the respective beverage manufacturer. The glass is therefore independent of the various beverage manufacturers (like the Euro bottle) and can be used by any beverage manufacturer for their product.
