Description

The invention relates to composite head wood closures and composite head wood closure caps with wood, plastic, connecting and reinforcing parts.

The head wood composite closing part or the head wood composite closing cap or the post head wood composite closing cap is hereinafter referred to as the cap , while the wood part to be closed is hereinafter referred to as the wood .

There are a large number of known head wood covering measures and head wood covering objects and products, mainly made of wood or metal, mainly placed flush on the wood to be protected. - The head wood covering parts known to date are mainly parts that are also made of wood or mainly made of metal. The existing head wood covering wooden parts have the same disadvantageous properties as the head wood to be protected and covered itself, for example in terms of cracking, aging and decay. Attached Metal 1-etc. caps also neither create nor represent a hermetic bond and only inadequately prevent the head wood to be covered and protected from cracking. The invention being registered here eliminates the disadvantages of the current state of the art. In addition, the invention being registered here opens up new areas of application and purpose in a new technology of its own kind and forms, among other things, the basis for simplified, more cost-effective production while at the same time maintaining the value of the object of this invention for a longer service life, which is described below as follows.

The object of this invention is such that penetration between wood and cap is prevented by casting a thermosetting or thermoplastic plastic or a plastic matrix, hereinafter referred to as plastic , which preferably simultaneously forms the head wood composite closure and/or the post head wood composite closure cap, i.e. the cap .

The plastic is formulated and preferably reinforced in such a way that it is as compatible as possible with the wood, both in terms of the physical and chemical adhesion behavior of the plastic to the wood.

The connection areas or connecting areas between wood and plastic/cap are preferably designed to enlarge the connection area and/or to interlock the connection areas in an appropriate shape.

Since it is preferably a cast composite, whereby the cast composite shape of the cap preferably results from the cast composite shape of the wood, i.e. in a sense as a "negative" of the cast composite shape of the wood, only the preferred cast composite shapes of the wood are described here below and for the sake of simplicity.

As a cast composite shape of the wood, from which the cast composite shape of the cap results and is understood in the "negative", the result for the wood is a profiling of preferably concentric circles of triangular cross-sections or trapezoidal cross-sections or other suitable profiles, preferably all-round wall-like preferably concentrically arranged elevations, with preferably alternating, in between, all around, preferably concentrically running valley rings or valleys.

As another cast composite shape of the wood, from which the corresponding cast composite shape of the cap results and is understood in "negative ^11" , the wood has a profile of preferably parallel mountain and valley ribbing, which can also be two-dimensional and transverse to each other, intersecting, at different angles to each other, depending on requirements.

In further, also different types of cast composite shapes of the wood, from which the cast composite shape of the cap results and is understood in the "negative", a mixed form of one of the profiles described above or another suitable type of profile that increases the composite surface results for the wood.

Appropriately and depending on the requirement, it is understood that, in addition to a preferably fiber reinforcement of the plastic of the cap, a composite reinforcement preferably in such a way that a reinforcement is inserted, preferably between or into the profiling of the wood, preferably in the valley areas of the profiling of the wood and is fixed there, in the plastic casting of the cap or through the plastic casting of the cap.

In addition to the profiling composite described above, depending on the requirements and depending on the type of wood and the cap and the plastic or the plastic matrix of the cap, an additional and additional reinforcement or composite reinforcement is arranged, which is described below as follows.

This is a toothed part or prong part, preferably a tubular prong part, which is inserted with its prongs, preferably in the valley areas of the recesses in the wood, where the part is fixed by the plastic or plastic casting.

With the other end of its preferably double-sided dovetailing, the part preferably reaches beyond the raised areas of the wood’s profiling into the plastic or plastic matrix of the cap, i.e. into the sprue or casting of the cap.

The jointing, as described here using the example of a pipe profile jointed on both sides, results in an even higher bond strength between the wood and the cap.

The tooth part can be toothed on one or both sides or shaped in a different way to suit the purpose. - Preferably, it should be shaped to fit into the valley areas of the wood's profile. - To further stabilize the wood-cap connection, the toothing described above or another suitable profile of the reinforcement part serves to accommodate additional reinforcing mesh in the plastic or plastic casting of the cap, preferably a GRP or carbon fiber mesh.

The composite ribs and/or composite profiles of the head wood described on the previous pages can extend, in the cross-grain areas, to the side of the cast composite, or in the cross-grain area to the cast composite, to the surfaces or side faces of the side surfaces in the area to the side of the cast composite and can be more or less visible there, depending on whether and how a color treatment and/or coating has been carried out in this area or not.

In the same way as described in the previous paragraph, any composite reinforcements can extend up to or up to the height of the side surfaces, to the side of the head wood composite casting.

In a completely or partially different arrangement than described in the last two paragraphs above, profiling and/or reinforcement arrangements, as also described above, are or can be arranged at a distance or internal distance from the lateral outer surfaces of the wood, in the area of the head wood composite casting or the head wood composite closure.

Claims (12)

1. Composite head wood closure, characterized in that the closure is formed by a plastic cap and the contact surface between the head wood and the plastic cap is enlarged. 2. Head wood composite closure according to claim 1, characterized in that the plastic cap is attached to the head wood by means of a cast compound. 3. Head wood composite closure according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the head wood surface is profiled to enlarge the contact surface. 4. Composite head wood closure according to claim 3, characterized in that the profiling is at least partially formed by ribs. 5. Composite head wood closure according to claim 4, characterized in that the ribs run parallel to one another. 6. Composite head wood closure according to claim 4 or 5, characterized in that at least some of the ribs run transversely to one another. 7. Composite headwood closure according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the ribs have a triangular or trapezoidal cross-section. 8. Composite head wood closure according to one of claims 4 to 7, characterized in that the ribs are at least partially designed as concentric rings. 9. Composite head wood closure according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that a composite reinforcement is provided in the plastic cap, which extends into the recesses of the profiling of the head wood. 10. Composite headwood closure according to claim 9, characterized in that the composite reinforcement is designed as a tube which is provided with prongs at one or both ends. 11. Head wood composite closure or head wood composite casting according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the ribs, ribbing and profiles and/or reinforcements extend to the side surfaces in the area of the head wood or head wood composite closure or head wood composite casting. 12. Composite head wood closure according to one of the preceding claims (except claim 11), characterized in that the ribs, ribbings and profiles and/or reinforcements are arranged entirely or partially at a distance or at an inner distance from the lateral outer surfaces of the wood or head wood.
