Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Geländerstab-Konstruktion mit den Merkmalen des Oberbegriffs von Anspruch 1.The invention relates to a handrail construction the features of the preamble of claim 1.

Commonly include known railing rod designs for wooden stairs railing bars made of wood with at the top and Fix the lower end of the hanger bolts, the free thread section with the thread one on the handrail or screwed to the step specified connection part to clamp the handrail.

With this railing rod construction, a connection is made of screwed to the connecting parts of the handrail and step Union sleeves with the tubular railing rod by means of a threaded bolt that goes into a corresponding internal threaded hole the cap sleeve and one in the handrail screwed-in threaded bush with internal thread is.

The often existing and internal architectural aspects declining desire, within a staircase enclosure a certain breadth and generosity between the handrail and steps arranged variety of wood or metal Railing bars opposed, due to their relative narrow safety distances visually like a closed one Wall. To avoid the banister structure to give a visually quieter impression, has already been proposed, the balusters through a continuous between entry and exit post to replace the synthetic glass pane extending up the stairs.

The aim of the invention is the optically massive final effect to avoid the usual railings and one loosened optical impression especially then induce when a flight of stairs at shorter intervals spiraled several times or the railing continued angularly several times is. In particular, a railing rod construction is said the type specified at the outset improved and be designed that largely made of plastic existing elements despite a certain property the lower strength values compared to metal or wood for the secure transmission of when using a Stairs between handrail and tread plates appearing different Forces can be applied.

According to the invention, a railing rod construction is used to achieve this object proposed with the features of claim 1.

With this proposal, existing handrails or steps are available Connection parts of any kind advantageously used and each by a suitable Cap sleeve added as an adapter, on which one for the to be transferred Sufficiently dimensioned internal thread attached to tensile and compressive forces can be to the relatively large diameter external thread to be screwed on the glass rod.

The glass rod, which is made of any suitable transparent plastic material, e.g. made of tough polycarbonate, only on its upper and short cap sleeves covering the lower thread end, e.g. made of polluted Metal or chromed steel can exist in their impression compared to the length of the glass rod advantageously inconspicuous. The desired inconspicuous appearance of the glass rod is still improved, if the threaded rod ends are reduced compared to the rod diameter and the outside diameter of the rod is even over the length the cap sleeves continues.

If, in a practical embodiment, the upper sleeve a little greater length than the union sleeve assigned to the lower end of the rod and its closed end in one from the bottom of the handrail outgoing blind hole is set, such can be evenly Size prefabricated and stocked top cap sleeves advantageous use in the case of different stairs or handrail gradients, that in all cases they have an approximately constant length from the The blind hole of the handrail protrude downwards and thus also manufacturing tolerances of the building can be compensated.

The cap sleeve that can be screwed onto the lower end of the rod is expedient at its lower end through a disk of larger diameter closed as that of the sleeve and in this way a large-area support of the handrail with low specific surface pressure on the Step guaranteed. The handrail construction according to the invention can also be further developed in that at least in the upper, ventilation openings containing sleeve a light source for illuminating the Glass rod is provided, the electrical lead through the handrail extends.

A hanger bolt 14 is screwed into the handrail 10 from below, which ends for secure anchoring in the handrail 10 along an essential section with a coarse wood thread 16 and at the other end with a metric Thread 18 is provided, which in a lower vertical counterbore 20 Handrail 10 protrudes concentrically. On the thread 18 of the hanger bolt 14, a cylindrical sleeve 22 is screwed on, the upper end of which can reach any depth into the counterbore 20 of the handrail 10. The diameter of sleeve 22 and countersunk bore 20 can be approximately the same his. The upper end of the sleeve 22 is welded or molded disc 24 closed to engage the metric thread 18 of the hanger bolt 14 contains a central threaded bore 26.

The upper union sleeve 22 has an internal thread 28 at the lower end which they are screwed onto an external thread 32 at the upper end 30 of the glass rod 12 is. In order to make this connection as inconspicuous as possible, this can be done External thread 32 on a rod section which has been reduced in diameter so far be attached that the sleeve 22 has the same outer diameter like rod 12.

- Im allgemeinen bestimmt sich die Länge und vor allem der Durchmesser des Außengewindes 32 oder 34 nach Maßgabe der vom Geländerstab 12 zu übertragenden Druck- und Zugspannungen.2, the glass rod 12 also carries at its lower end 34 on a Reduced diameter section, an external thread 36 on which a lower Union sleeve 38 is screwed on with a corresponding internal thread 40. Even with this connection between glass rod 12 and sleeve 38 are preferably provided the same outside diameter. - In general the length and above all the diameter of the external thread 32 are determined or 34 in accordance with the pressure and Tensile stresses.

At the other end, a washer 42 is formed on the lower union sleeve 38 or attached in another way, which is used for the large-scale distribution of the clamping or Contact force on a step 44 a larger diameter than the cap sleeve 38 has. The disk 42 contains a central threaded bore 60, in which to tension the rod 12 with the step 44 by this a threaded bolt is screwed in at the bottom.

Die Distanzhülse 50 hat vorzugsweise den gleichen Durchmesser wie Stab 12.In the embodiment of Fig. 2, the threaded bolt consists of a longer one Cap screw 52, at the same time a subsequent downstairs, by a Spacer sleeve 50 is clamped spaced tread 48. The cap screw 52 runs through a bore 54 of the lower step 48, through a at both ends with wide contact washers 64 spacer sleeve 50 and through a bore 58 in the step 44 into the threaded bore 60 of the Disc 42. The spacer sleeve 50 preferably has the same diameter as Rod 12.

At the bottom step of a flight of stairs, the lower sleeve can 38 directly with this step by means of a correspondingly shortened cap screw 52 can be connected. The same procedure is followed when using spiral staircases or with deep steps every step over more than two balusters is connected to the handrail.
