The aim of the invention is

Conventional sieves usually have a coarse-meshed fabric that is enclosed in a bag shape at the top and has a handle. The disadvantage is that the sieve has to be held with one hand and only one hand is available for working. The sieve inserts available in the trade, e.g. made of stainless steel, have coarse drainage holes on the bottom that allow the smallest dirt particles, such as sand, to get into the drain, so that this waste water does not meet the requirements of the invention. The coarse sieves placed in the drain trough or the sieves integrated in the drain fitting also offer too little collecting area and do not hold back even the smallest dirt particles. The disadvantage here is that these sieves themselves have to be emptied and cleaned again with water after almost every work cycle. The solid dirt residues remaining in the sink bowl must also be laboriously removed and the bowl itself cleaned again with water.

The invention specified in the protection claim is based on the problem of not draining fresh water, so-called idle water, which is not used, or is unpolluted, or only contains the smallest of dirt particles, into the sewer, but collecting it separately so that it is available for reuse. The sewer system is becoming increasingly burdened with more and more dirt; a deficiency that the sewage treatment plants have to remedy at great expense.

The problems are solved with the features listed in the protection claim. The invention makes it possible to collect water in a targeted manner , for example in the home: - unused / idle water

The advantage of the invention is that coarse and even tiny dirt particles are separated from the water to be collected and collected centrally in the middle sieve, and that the water's drainage speed is not affected. This collected water can be safely reused, e.g. for rinsing, cleaning, swirling, watering houseplants, watering the garden, washing the car, etc.

The advantage over so-called grey water from other drains is that the water is not contaminated with alkalis etc.

To collect the water filtered with the invention, a separate drain must be provided in the sink that is not connected to the sewer drainage system. The water to be collected is led through this drain into a collecting vessel using a flexible hose.

The invention offers the advantage that where it is used, only a direct drain is required; this eliminates the need to install the more complex siphon drain device.

A second sink is the ideal equipment for implementing this system, but not a requirement.

The conversion is possible for anyone with very little financial outlay. By using the invention, this system pays for itself within a very short time on average.

The invention can also be used to prevent dirt loads (solid parts) from entering the sewage system; e.g. usable in the second sink trough, whose drains into the sewer system, so that only dirty water can enter the sewer drain there; all solid dirt loads are caught.

The invention also offers the advantage of being able to work with water above the bowl with both hands. The sieve is easy to handle. It is placed in the sink bowl. The outer frame of the large sieve sits almost positively on the rounded transition of the walls into the bottom area of the bowl, and thus covers the entire surface. The sieve can remain in the bowl permanently as a precaution, as it does not have to be cleaned after every washing process. Even the smallest of dirt particles collect in the middle sieve thanks to the funnel-shaped feed. The middle sieve should be emptied when necessary. It can be removed from the middle of the large sieve with one hand and is easy to empty and clean.

Cleaning the large sieve is also easy. It can be lifted out of the trough using the handle. Any remaining dirt particles on the sieve fabric of the large sieve should be swept away or removed using a thick broom (comb) or a rubber scraper. Basic cleaning is carried out in the normal dishwashing process.

The present invention relates to a sieve Fig.1, consisting of a large (1) and a middle (2) sieve. The latter is inserted flush into the middle opening of the large sieve by means of a device (3) and is provided with coarse outlet holes (4) in the base area. Micro sieve fabric (7) is applied over the entire surface of the funnel-shaped frame of the large sieve (5) and in the inner base area of the middle sieve (6). A pouring/protective edge (9) is applied to the upper frame edge (8), which is formed with grip recesses (10) on two sides.

In the cross-section in Fig.2 it is clear that the supports (1) of the large sieve frame run upwards in a funnel shape towards the sink walls (2), and that the upper frame edge (3), from about the lower third of the sink bowl, rests almost positively on the walls of the sink. The commercially available sinks converge in the lower part of the bowl downwards towards the drain. This enables the upper sieve edge to lie flush, and there is still space under the large sieve for the middle sieve Fig. 3, which serves as a collecting and collecting container. A compensating edge seal Fig.4 is attached to the upper outer frame edge of the large sieve.

In the example, retaining elements are attached to the upper edge of the middle sieve (3.1) (3.2), which anchor the counterpart at the lower middle edge of the large sieve, so that the middle sieve lies flush in the middle opening of the large sieve.

According to claim 2, it may be advantageous to manufacture the sieve as a sieve basket that completely covers the sink, but this is not the most cost-effective option.

According to claim 3, the one-piece sieve offers a cost-effective manufacturing option. The disadvantage here is that the sieve has to be removed as a whole for emptying and/or cleaning; however, this still offers advantages in comparison to the known sieves, as the sieve is easy to remove and easy to maintain.

It is advantageous if the large sieve is provided with an upper pouring/protective edge, which in terms of the horizontal support width corresponds at least to the dimension of the outer frame edge and is attached or mounted on the sieve fabric for protection.

The sieve can also be placed over or in other drainage openings, for example in sewer drainage systems (septic tanks). For this version, the density of the sieve fabric and the volume of the central sieve must be designed according to the dirt load.

The sieve can also be used as such to separate liquids other than water from large to small parts, e.g. fruit juice processing etc.
