Die Erfindung besteht in der Construction eines Mörsers ohne Bodenstück, derart, dafs eine Wassersäule in den unteren Theil der Seele eingelassen wird und daselbst als Boden dient. Diese Construction und das verhältnifsmäfsig geringe Gewicht des Geschützes, sowie der nicht stattfindende Rücklauf erlauben es, den Mörser in einem gewöhnlichen Ruderboot anzubringen und zu transportiren oder auch denselben zwischen zwei Booten, oder auf einem Flofs zu befestigen, vorausgesetzt, dafs die untere Hälfte des Mörsers stets unter Wasser taucht. Somit kann das Boot mit seinem Mörser in viel flacheres Wasser geführt werden, als es für ein Mörserfahrzeug mit einem gewöhnlichen Mörser desselben Kalibers gestattet sein würde.The invention consists in the construction of a mortar without a bottom piece in such a way that a column of water is let into the lower part of the soul and there as the bottom serves.
