Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Festhalten von Werkstücken oder Körpern mittels Vakuum.
Auf vielen Gebieten der Technik, insbesondere im Bereich der ver- und bearbeitenden Industrie stellt sich
die Aufgabe, Körper beliebiger Form mit einer mit Vakuum beaufschlagten, gelochten Saugplatte
festzuhalten. Versieht man eine solche dem Grrößtformat angepasste Saugplatte mit über die gesamte
Räche angeordneten Saugbohrungen, so ist bei kleinen, angesaugten Formaten die Leckrate durch die
nicht abgedeckten Bohrungen sehr hoch. Um dies zu umgehen, müssen bei üblicherweise verwendeten
Vakuumplatten die nicht benötigten Bohrungen mittels Abdecken oder Verschließen der Saugbohrungen
durch Stöpsel, Schrauben, Plättchen oder dergleichen abgedichtet werden, um die Leckrate möglichst
gering zu halten. Insbesondere gilt es, eine durch Bearbeitung der zu spannenden Körper entstehende
Verschmutzung des Vakuumsystems, durch Öl, Kühlschmierstoffe, anfallende SpäneThe invention relates to a device for holding workpieces or bodies by means of vacuum.

und die Leckrate möglichst gering zu halten. Die Erfindung erreicht dies mit den in Anspruch 1 genannten
Mitteln. Vorteilhafte Weiterbildungen sind in den Unteransprüchen angegeben.
