Mit 1 ist in Fig. 1 ein höhenverstellbarer BCinder-Stuhl bezeichnet, der eine einteilig mit einer Rückenlehne ausgebildete Sitzfläche 2 aufweist, die aus Holz besteht und formverleimt ist. Der Sitz ist an zwei Querstreben 3 und 4 befestigt, die ihrerseits zwei U-förmig ausgebildete Streben 5 und 6 miteinander verbinden. Die beiden nach unten ragenden freien Enden der Streben 5 und 6 greifen in rohrförmig ausgebildete Führungsschienen 7, 8, 9 und 10 ein, während der obere, U-förmig gebogene Abschnitt der Streben 5 und 6 über den Sitz hinausragt und je eine seitliche Stütze bildet. Die vier rohrförmigen Führungsschienen 7 bis 10 sind mit ihrem unteren Ende an einem Fußgestell 11 befestigt, das aus drei Teilen besteht, nämlich einem Mittemohn 12 und zwei seitlich an diesem angeordneten Seitenholmen 13. Der Mittelholm 12 und die beiden Seitenhohne 13 sind doppel-T-förmig angeordnet, wobei an den Mittelholm 12 rechtwinklig zu diesem ein Mittelabschnitt 14 des jeweiligen Seitenhohns 13 anschließt. An diesen Mittelabschnitt 14 schließt beiderseits ein Außenabschnitt 15,16 an, der in einem Winkel nach außen verläuft. Am Übergang zwischen dem Mittelabschnitt 14 und den beiden Außenabschnitten 15,16 sind nach außen offene Ausnehmungen vorgesehen, in welche die Enden der Führungsschienen 7 bis 10 eingreifen. Zusätzlich sind die Führungsschienen noch an den beiden Seitenholmen 13 mittels Schrauben 17 festgelegt. In der Mitte des Mittelhohns 12 ist eine als hydropneumatische Feder ausgebildete Verstelleinrichtung 20 mit ihrem einen Ende befestigt, deren anderes Ende unmittelbar an der Unterseite der Sitzfläche angreift.
