Hierzu zählen bisher schwer oder nicht beleuchtbare Bauteile wie Schalter und Schaltknebel, Bedienräder, Kipphebel, Griffinulden und dergleichen. Diese sind jedoch energieintensiv und anfallig für mechanische Erschütterungen. Diese Variante ist vorzugsweise bis 3 LED1 s geeignet.

Auch die einfache und kostengünstige Unterbringung einer Leiterplatte im Rechteckformat und ohne Sonderkonturen ist möglich. Dadurch Wegfall mehrerer, einzelner speziell geformter Leiterplatten. Die LED werden aus der zentralen Fahrzeugelektronik über ein einzelnes Zuleitungskabel maximal Ix 0,25 - 0,35 mm2 versorgt und direkt an dieses angecrimpt. Die Schaltung erfolgt jeweils gegen die Fahrzeugmasse. Das ermöglicht einen wesentlich einfacheren, konstruktiven Einbau der LED's vor Ort. Diese Variante ist geeignet für mehrere Anwendungsfalle.
