Die Erfindung betrifft einen Stapelkasten zum Transport von zu klimatisierenden Produkten wie z.B. Konditoreiwaren, Wurst- und Käsewaren, Getränken od. dgl., insbesondere aus einem lebensmittelechten Kunststoff, wie Polypropylen, mit einem Boden und umlaufenden Wänden. Derartige Stapelkästen sind in unterschiedlichen Gestaltungen bekannt, sie werden beispielsweise von einem Kastenboden mit einem in der Gebrauchslage oberen Handhabungsrand gebildet. Zur Kühlung von darin zu transportierenden Produkten wird teilweise Eis von oben in den Kasten auf oder zwischen die zu transportierende Produkte gegeben. Dies hat den Nachteil, daß das Eis schmilzt und die Produkte durchnäßt. Umgekehrt ist auch eine gleichmäßige Erwärmung oder das Warmhalten von Produkten bisher nicht ohne weiteres möglich. Alternativ sind Steckprofile 6, wie in Figur 3 gezeigt, vorgesehen. Die Kühl- oder Wärmespeicherelemente 5,5' können mit nicht näher dargestellten Sicherungselementen, z.B. Sperrschiebern, arretiert sein.
