Removable cover according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that at least some of the holding elements are realized as clamping pieces (40) with a U-shaped or bow-shaped cross section, which are designed at the edge for removable attachment to a door leaf (12), a window sash or the like and are designed for detachable connection to the cover material by means of a Velcro, snap fastener or hook/eyelet connection.

7. Replacement cover according to claim 6, characterized in that the clamping pieces have a knob (48) which is designed to engage in a corresponding recess provided on the edge in the cover material.

8. Removable cover according to one of claims 1 to 7, characterized by at least one opening (22, 24) formed in the cover material for passing through or accessing fittings or operating elements (26, 28) of the door (12) or the window when the removable cover is pulled up.

9. Replacement cover according to claim 8, characterized in that the opening (22, 24) is essentially circular or oval and is surrounded by a correspondingly shaped, solid ring in the cover material.

10. Replacement cover according to one of claims 1 to 9, characterized by a gathering device formed on the circumference of the cover material.
