Das Ergebnis implantologisch-prothetischer Versorgungen zahnloser Kiefer hängt entscheidend von der chirurgischen Implantatinsertion ab. Die Implantatpositionierung in vestibulo-oraler und mesiodistaler Richtung wird anhand der präimplantologischen Planung (Set-Up) festgelegt. Die hieraus resultierenden Bohrschablonen müssen so gestaltet sein, daß sie einen ausreichenden chirurgischen Handlungsbedarf gewährleisten. Jedoch kann eine parallele Implanatationsrichtung {z.B. durch eingearbeitete Führungsröhrchen) nicht in die Schablone einprogrammiert werden, ohne diesen chirurgischen Handlungsspielraum zu verlieren. Eine parallele Implantatausrichtung sollte jedoch im Hinblick auf ein optimales prothetisches Ergebnis immer angestrebt werden, wobei diese vor allem bei teieskopierenden SupraStrukturen unumgänglich ist.The result of implantological-prosthetic treatments for edentulous jaws depends crucially on the surgical implant insertion. Eine aufwendige präoperative Planung und die damit verbundene Einschränkung des chirurgischen Handlungsspielraumes wird umgangen. Die Operationszeit wird wesendlich verkürzt, da zeitraubende Kontrollen der Implantatausrichtungen nicht mehr erforderlich sind. Durch den Einsatz von Führungsstiften unterschiedlicher Durchmesser wird der Einsatz der Erfindung auch bei unterschiedlichen Knochenqualitäten ermöglicht.
