- 3 "Manual car wash"

The innovation relates to a car washing system which is essentially based on a 25 1 liquid container (canister model) and has been completed by the accessories listed.

In known car washing systems, nylon brushes are arranged horizontally and/or vertically, and either the car or the system itself is moved using electrically-hydraulically controlled devices, thus cleaning the car. Draining the water from the car using an air blower in the last work phase always makes manual re-leathering desirable. Containers for applying water using pressure are known to be both mobile and portable, but are subject to complex mechanization.

The innovation is based on the task of creating a car washing system of the type mentioned above, which requires neither an electric-hydraulic system nor a complicated mechanical device. This task is solved for the user by providing a stable liquid container with the accessories listed for cleaning the car.

Furthermore, the user is provided with a product that allows them to be tied neither to time nor place. Not only are long waiting times in front of standard car washes avoided, but the car can be cleaned completely, i.e. even on curved surfaces that extend into the underside of the car. The special advantage of this innovative car wash is that the dirt is removed from the surfaces to be cleaned by a washing brush with paint-friendly bristles. The constantly flowing water washes away the dissolved dirt and does not rub it into the paint as is the case with a sponge wash.

Another advantage is that after washing the car, the remaining water on the paint and window surfaces can be removed using an absorbent cloth/leather. It is necessary to wring out or wash out the fully soaked cloth/leather in the meantime. To do this, the lid of the container can now be opened and the cloth/leather can be dipped into the remaining water through the large opening with the cloth/leather in your hand.

By sweeping and wringing with one hand in the container, dirt particles adhering to the cloth/leather are washed out.

If the hand with the cloth/leather is pulled out of the container, the cloth/leather can be roughly wiped off with the other hand and most of the water slides back into the container. Wringing the cloth/leather over the filling opening with both hands catches more liquid.

Economical water consumption is practiced in addition to the actual car washing.

Fig. 1 shows the basic structure of a manual car washing system of the new type.

The system consists of a liquid container with the filling opening and carrying handle on the top. The filled container can be closed with a lid for transport.

After removing the cover, the submersible pump with integrated power cable and attached water hose can be inserted into the filled container on site.

There is a plug on the power cable which is plugged into the cigarette lighter of the car to be cleaned. The electric current can flow as soon as the ignition key is turned to level 1. The washing brush with integrated shut-off valve is attached to the water hose. The latter can be used to individually measure the amount of water.

Fig. 2 shows the accessories in the sequence as (1) container with (la) handle, (Ib) external thread, (Ic) filling opening, and (2) closure lid with (2a) sealing ring, (2b) retaining ring and (2c) internal thread.

If you intend to clean your car, proceed as follows. The filled container (1) is placed approximately in the middle of the car to be cleaned, to the side, and the cover (2) is unscrewed. The submersible pump (3) with power cable (3a) and attached water hose (5) can now be inserted into the opened container (1). The plug (4) is inserted into the car's cigarette lighter and the ignition key is turned to level 1. The submersible pump (3) now pumps water, which can escape via the attached water hose (5) and the washing brush (6) that is also attached, as well as the open shut-off valve (6a).

The power cable runs over the lower car door frame and allows it to be closed without damaging the power cable. The water flow rate can be adjusted using the shut-off valve (6a) so that on the one hand the dirt particles are washed away from the car surface and on the other hand enough water remains in the container (1) to dip and rinse the cloth/leather several times to completely dry the car.

As soon as one side and the bow and stern have been cleaned, the shut-off valve (6a) is closed, the plug (4) is removed from the cigarette lighter and the container (1) with the accessories (3, 3a, 4, 5, 6, 6a) is placed on the other side of the car that still needs to be cleaned.
Here the procedure is repeated as described above. After cleaning and de-leathering the car, all the accessories (3, 3a, 4, 5, 6 and 6a) can now be stored in the empty container (1), which in turn can be closed with the lid (2) and put away to save space.
