Abstract

The fan dries hair mainly by suction of air through the wet hair, with only partial application of small volume of hot air to the drying process. The hot air is directed so that it does not reach the skin and thus does not dry it excessively. It contains a brush, connected to two blowers, which increases the suction effect through its bristles and provides an air discharge 1 mm above the bristle tips. In this manner the hair roots and skin are free of excessive, damaging heat, while the time required for drying may be reduced by greater volumes of applicable hair. Such a hair drier also facilitates the hair shaping and conditioning.
