Description

Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist eine metallene Formplatte, insbesondere aus
Kupfer, für Rotationsmaschinen. Es ist bekannt, aus den Stoßkanten der Formplatte
hakenförmige Lappen herauszudrücken, durch welche mittels Keilstücke die Formplatte
auf dem Zylinder befestigt wird. Durch das hakenförmige Herausdrücken der Lappen entstehen
Zwischenräume, die nach dem Festspannen der Platte durch besonders zugerichtete Paßstücke geschlossen werden müssen.
Durch diese Paßstücke wird einesteils die Fehlerquelle vergrößert, andernteils ist eine
besondere Zurichtung und Ätzung derjenigen Stellen, an denen die Paßstücke liegen, nach
dem Festspannen der Platte auf dem Zylinder erforderlich. Alle diese Nachteile werden durch
die vorliegende Erfindung vermieden.

Die gegeneinanderstoßenden Kanten der Formplatte sind in ihrer ganzen Länge verstärkt und hakenartig ausgebildet. Die eigentümliche Gestaltung der Anschlußkanten des Bleches kann auf verschiedene Art herbeigeführt werden, z. B. kann die einspringende Kante f dadurch hergestellt werden, daß ein dem Querschnitt der Verdickung entsprechend starkes Blech von einem der Einspringung angepaßten Profilfräser bearbeitet wird. Oder das Blech kann schon im Blechwalzwerk mit der Verdickung versehen werden, so daß nur noch eine Nachbearbeitung durch den Profilfräser erforderlich ist. Die Verdickung kann aber auch dadurch herbeigeführt werden, daß die Kanten auf einer hierfür geeigneten Maschine in die gewünschte Form gestaucht werden. Die Kanten werden daraufhin an ihren Stirnseiten sauber und scharf geschliffen und kommen dann, nachdem die Bildätzung vorgenommen worden ist, auf den Umfang des Formzylinders. Die Fehlerquelle wird auf das geringste Maß reduziert und eine nachträgliche Zurichtung oder Ätzung der Formplatte ist nicht notwendig, so daß unmittelbar nach der Befestigung der Formplatte auf dem Zylinder mit dem Drucken begonnen werden kann.The abutting edges of the mold plate are reinforced over their entire length and designed like a hook.
