Zusatz zum Patent 247820.Addendum to patent 247820.
Nach Patent 247820 wird mit einer Lösung gearbeitet, welche ausAccording to patent 247820, a solution is used which consists of
2 Teilen kieselfluorwasserstoffsaurem Aluminium, 2 parts of silicofluoric acid aluminum,
6 Teilen kieselfluorwasserstoffsaurem Ammonium, 6 parts of silicofluoric acid ammonium,
15 Teilen zweifachphosphorsaurem Ammonium, 15 parts of bisphosphate of ammonium,
19 Teilen salpetersaurem Ammonium,
7 Teilen salpetersaurem Aluminium19 parts of nitric acid ammonium,
7 parts of nitric aluminum
These Etch for lithographic metal plates predominantly colors in the process of etching the zinc plates are somewhat brownish-gray, and the result is slightly restless-looking and cloudy surfaces that make visibility difficult by covering up small imperfections, Affect lines, points and the like in appearance. Even the black roll-in and transfer printing ink or the black printing ink stand out poorly with this coloring of the plates; but occurs to an even more disturbing degree - this with light and light Tones, e.g. B. with gray colors in the machine printing and especially the fast running Machinery. Small spots of dirt, settlements or approaches (clay) are too late recognized after significant damage has usually already occurred, since the field gray Color of the plate makes the mostly wafer-thin colors invisible. This is caused by the use of nitrates, because of the gradual and uneven acting degradation from a high oxidation level to lower and finally to ammonia adversely affects the reaction will. This problem is remedied if an oxidizing agent is used not changed to base, is used. As such, supersulfuric acid is special in their soluble salts, excellently suited. By using them succeeds it is to improve the result obtained earlier so that the zinc appears whitish in color and looks much duller at the same time. As a result, even the smallest dots and lightest spots close more quickly see what is of particular advantage with the high-speed printing machines, since the ~ 5o Damage is also noticed more quickly. This is particularly advantageous with the fine ones Grids of straight and crossed lines, with all types of grain grids and with Color printing with light colors. Another advantage is that the new oxidizer makes the layer even denser and more absorbent, while the reaction is just as fast proceeds like that described in patent 247820. Is suitable from the persulfates especially the ammonium salt, also the aluminum salt and calcium salt; but also the
anderen löslichen Salze können als Ersatz der Nitrate verwendet werden, mit Ausnahme des löslichen Kaliumsalzes.other soluble salts can be used as substitutes for the nitrates, with the exception of the soluble potassium salt.
Die Zusammensetzung der Ätze besteht bei der neuen Mischung aus:The composition of the etch in the new mixture consists of:
2 Teilen kieselfluorwasserstoffsaurem Aluminium, 2 parts of silicofluoric acid aluminum,
6 Teilen kieselfluorwasserstoffsaurem Ammonium, 6 parts of silicofluoric acid ammonium,
ίο 1.5 Teilen zweifachphosphorsaurem Ammonium, ίο 1.5 parts of diphosphate ammonium,
Aber die Mengenverhältnisse können ohne Schaden innerhalb gewisser Grenzen variiert werden ; insbesondere können statt der Ammoniumsalze auch die Natrium- und Kalziumsalze verwendet werden.20 parts of supersulphuric ammonium, ίο parts of sulphurous aluminum, -ίο Parts of supersulfuric aluminum dissolved in approximately 100 to 120 parts of water and to which 10 parts of gum arabic are added. But the proportions can be varied within certain limits without damage; in particular can Instead of the ammonium salts, the sodium and calcium salts can also be used.
